HUB REMOVER TOOL
A tool for removing a hub assembly from a suspension arm of a vehicle may include a hub remover plate, an insert, and a pusher screw assembly. The hub remover plate may comprise a front surface, a rear surface opposite the front surface, an arcuate section extending between the front surface and the rear surface. The hub remover plate may also include a slot and an opening that extending through the hub remover plate. An insert may comprise a first portion that is configured to be received within the opening of the hub remover plate, a second portion that includes a shoulder that is configured to contact the rear surface of the hub remover plate, and a threaded axial bore extending through the insert. The pusher screw assembly may include a screw, where the screw is configured to be received in the threaded axial bore of the insert.
Removal tool for a filter insert of a liquid filter
A removal tool for a filter insert of a liquid filter. The removal tool includes a first arm having a first outer side, the first outer side extending along a first axis. It furthermore includes a second arm having a second outer side, the second outer side extending along a second axis. The first arm includes a first hook, which projects from the first arm essentially transversely to the first axis. The second arm includes a second hook, which projects from the second arm essentially transversely to the second axis. The first outer side and the second outer side are connected to one another with a swivel joint having a joint axis.
JOINT PRESS ADAPTER
A slip-on adapter that is adapted to be coupled to existing adapters that have already been developed. The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. The slip-on adapter can also be used as a “flip adapter” with different geometries at both ends for use with two different size ball joints. This allows for less expensive adapters for new size ball joints by connecting to existing adapters, rather than requiring full machining of a new adapter.
Ball joint press
A ball joint press includes a first frame including a first member and a first adaptor, and a second frame including a second member and a second adaptor. A link is pivotally coupled to the first member and to the second the second member. An actuating screw is rotatably coupled to the first member and to the second member. Rotation of the actuating screw in a first rotational direction causes the first member and second member to undergo a first pivoting action relative to the link to move the first adaptor toward the second adaptor. Rotation of the actuating screw in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction causes the first member and second member to undergo a second pivoting action relative to the link, opposite to the first pivot action, to move the first adaptor away from the second adaptor.
VEHICLE COVER SCREW TOOL AND METHOD OF USE
A screw tool system for use with vehicle covers includes a vehicle screw adapter which interfaces with the receiver end of the screw and uses a standard cordless power screwdriver to drive the screw either into or out of the frame and vehicle top. A standard screwdriver handle could be used in place of the cordless power screwdriver. The cordless power screwdriver is preferred over a corded power screwdriver due to ease of use and lower power, which reduces the threat of stripping the screw.
Disc brake piston retraction tool
A piston retraction tool is provided. The tool can be operated with one hand. When an operating handle is operated, the helical movements of a first external thread and a second external thread drive a first pressure plate and a second pressure plate to extend and move away from each other. First engaging pieces of first L-shaped elastic plates and second engaging pieces of second L-shaped elastic plates are distributed in the roots and on the crests of the first and second external threads. The helical movements of the first and second external threads don't interfere with each other because the first and second engaging pieces of the first and second L-shaped elastic plates are configured to jump along the first and second external threads independently. The helical movements of the first and second external threads will not be locked.
Injector sleeve installation tool and removal tool kit
A tool for inserting and fastening a replacement injector sleeve in the cylinder head of a diesel engine. The tool is part of an injector sleeve tool kit which also includes an injector sleeve removal tool. The installation tool includes an expandable mandril which is inserted into the injector sleeve and expands a portion of the sleeve causing a press fit of the sleeve within the cylinder head. The sleeve removal tool includes a tap having a longitudinal body and a threaded cutting head at one end and a bolt having a head at the other end. An extraction nut is threaded onto the threaded shaft of the drive member followed by a bearing surface member such as a spacer. A hollow cylinder or support sleeve having an internal diameter greater than the injector sleeve to be removed and an external diameter less than the diameter of the sleeve bore includes a shoulder member.
Motorcycle starter contact alignment tool
A motorcycle starter contact alignment tool is configured to be an adaptation of a solenoid tool plate incorporating a threaded aperture to adjustably control the advancement of a threaded rod and a contact jig. The threaded rod is intended to depress the contact jig, having an alignment face which coincidentally contacts a pair of electrical contacts within the solenoid housing, so as to properly align those contacts prior to being tightened in position. The threaded rod is provided with a handle to facilitate the turning thereof.
Disc brake piston retraction tool with backing plate expansion structure
A disc brake piston retraction tool is provided. When the tool is applied to a large-scale disc brake, it is necessary to increase the width in the left-to-right direction of the working surface of a pressure plate of the tool. A plate expansion unit is coupled to the outer surface of the pressure plate. When a locking unit is inserted in a coupling hole of the pressure plate, a steel ball is retracted. After the steel ball passes through the coupling hole, a compression spring rebounds to produce a positioning effect. The backing plate can be easily and quickly mounted to the outer surface of the pressure plate to increase the width of the working surface of the pressure plate. The locking device allows the steel ball to be retracted to exit the coupling hole.
Brake caliper tool
A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed. Plates of the present invention are locked by a key to prevent the plates from spinning independently. Additionally, the key acts as an internal stop, providing a point beyond which the plates cannot be further spread or separated from one another. Additionally, a spring is provided to prevent the thread from turning independently from the plates.
