Utensil
A utensil comprises a main body having a handle and a receptacle. A resilient arm has a curved flexible portion and is operatively connected to the main body to be movable between a rest configuration and an extended configuration whereat the curved portion is less curved than in the extended configuration. A remover is operatively connected to the resilient arm in substance disengaging relation with respect to the receptacle. A trigger operatively mounted on the main body for movement between a rest position corresponding to the rest configuration of the resilient arm and an actuating position corresponding to the extended configuration of the resilient arm. In use, movement of the trigger from the rest position to the actuating position causes extension of the resilient arm from the rest configuration to the extended configuration to thereby moving the remover in substance disengaging relation with respect to the receptacle.
Biodegradable Living Hinge
A molded polymer article is disclosed which includes a first structural portion, a second structural portion, and a living hinge connecting the first structural portion and the second structural portion. Both structural portions and the living hinge are all integrally molded from a polymeric composition which includes: (1) from about 20 to about 95 weight percent of polyhydroxyalkanoates, (2) from about 5 to about 75 weight percent of a biodegradable polymer selected from the group consisting of polylactic acid, poly(butylene succinate), poly(butylene-succinate-co-adipate), poly(caprolactone), and poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate), (3) from about 0.01 to about 5.0 weight percent of a nucleating agent, and (4) from about 0.01 to about 5.0 weight percent of at least one mold processing aid, such as a mold release agent.

PORTABLE REUSABLE UTENSIL
A portable reusable utensil is revealed. The portable reusable utensil includes an upper casing, a lower casing, and a utensil body. The utensil body is mounted in a receiving space formed between the upper casing and the lower casing detachably connected to each other for storage and easy to carry. While in use, a service end of the utensil body is facing outwards while an assembly of the upper casing and the lower casing is used as a part held with user's hand to serve food. The design makes the portable reusable utensil more convenient to use.

DRINKING CUP WITH UTENSIL COMPARTMENT INTEGRATED WITH HANDLE
A drinking cup assembly includes a handle with a compartment for storing a utensil. The utensil includes a panel that forms a part of the handle. When the utensil is contained in the compartment, the panel occupies an opening that leads to the compartment. The utensil may be a stirrer, spoon, fork or knife. The handle may be permanently attached to the cup or removable from the cup.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR MAGNETIZABLE PLASTICS
Provided herein are compositions comprising substrates that contain polymeric materials or non-magnetic, paramagnetic, or diamagnetic metal objects, and films or inks that contain ferromagnetic materials in which the films or the ferromagnetic materials are transparent. Also provided herein are methods of fabricating the substrates. Further provided herein are ferromagnetic material films containing transparent or translucent films that comprises ferromagnetic materials. The coating imparts functionality to the film such that the film is capable of being mechanically separated from the polymeric materials or non-magnetic, paramagnetic, or diamagnetic metal objects using a commercial magnetic separator. The transparent, food-safe ink composition, which can be printed using high-speed flexographic, gravure, intaglio, offset printing or pad printing consists of an ingestible magnetically susceptible pigment capable of rendering the printed template with magnetically active properties.
Packaged Food Product and Method of Producing the Packaged Food Product
A packaged food product includes a container and a food product. The container has a rim and at least one wall extending away from the rim. The at least one wall defines a storage area, and the food product is retained within the storage area such that the food product is in contact with the at least one wall. The at least one wall is readily deformable by a hand of a user to reduce a volume of the storage area. Reducing the volume of the storage area causes the food product to exit the storage area. The container includes an integral tool portion including a tine extending from a distal end of the tool portion for breaking up the food product after removal from the storage area. The food product can be a wet cat or dog food.
