POWER TOOL
A tool is provided for applying fasteners to a workpiece. The tool has a housing with a nosepiece, a motor, a drive actuator, a magazine assembly that holds fasteners, and a feed assembly with a feed actuator configured to move a lead fastener into the nosepiece. A driver in the housing is driven by a drive system that is associated with the driver actuator. A controller is connected to the feed actuator and the drive actuator to implement a firing sequence for driving each lead fastener into the workpiece using the driver and feeding the lead fastener into the nosepiece assembly. The actuators may be in the form of solenoids. The controller is designed to energize and deenergize the motor selectively while the drive actuator and feed actuator are activated.
Nail gun nozzle mechanism and nail gun having the same
A nail gun nozzle mechanism includes a clamping wall, a retaining wall, and a switch unit. The clamping wall defines a firing space. The retaining wall defines a withdrawn space that is in spatial communication with the firing space. The switch unit includes a linkage member, and a bracket member. The bracket member is movable relative to the clamping wall between a firing position, where the bracket member is distal from the clamping wall and is disposed in the withdrawn space, and a non-firing position, where the bracket member is proximate to the clamping wall and blocking at least a portion of the firing space. The linkage member resiliently biases the bracket member toward the non-firing position.
Powered fastener driver
A fastener driver includes a pusher assembly slidably coupled to a magazine assembly. The pusher assembly includes a first portion and a second portion that are selectively movable relative to each other. The pusher assembly is adjustable between a first state in which the first portion and the second portion are configured to move together in unison toward the channel, and a second state in which the first portion moves relative to the second portion toward the channel. A dry-fire lockout assembly includes a blocking member coupled to the magazine assembly or the nosepiece assembly, and a lockout member selectively engageable with the blocking member for moving the blocking member from a first position and a second position. The pusher assembly is configured to transition from the first state to the second state after a predetermined number of fasteners remain in the magazine assembly.
Driving tool
A contact restriction member is configured to move from an unlock position to a lock position within a predetermined time period by using an intermittent rotation movement of a restriction wheel. The contact restriction member may prevent substantial movement of a contact arm when the contact restriction member is in the lock position.
Reversion trigger for combustion-powered fastener-driving tool
A fastener-driving tool has a housing including a combustion chamber, where the combustion chamber generates combustion for driving a fastener, and a processor associated with the housing and in communication with the combustion chamber. The processor is configured to cause an initial combustion in the combustion chamber and cause a fastener to be driven when a first actuation event and a second actuation event occur, and is configured to cause at least one subsequent combustion in the combustion chamber and cause at least one additional fastener to be driven when only the first actuation event occurs.
DRIVING MACHINE
There is provided a driving machine capable of reducing a load applied to a guide member in a direction of a center axis. The driving machine drives a fastener into a workpiece. The driving machine includes a movable piston, a driver blade operating together with the piston and applying driving force to the fastener, a cylinder guiding operation of the piston, a holder provided in a housing and supporting the cylinder, and a vibration damping rubber interposed between the holder and the housing and receiving a load applied to the holder in an operational direction of the piston.
FASTENER-DRIVING TOOL INCLUDING A REVERSION TRIGGER
A fastener-driving tool includes a housing and a workpiece-contacting element movable between a rest position and an activated position. The tool also includes a trigger connected to the housing and movable between a rest position and an activated position, a control valve including an actuating pin, an actuation lever movably connected to the trigger and movable between a rest position and an actuating position adjacent to the actuating pin, and a trigger control mechanism associated with the actuation lever and configured for moving and holding the actuation lever in the actuating position. In a powered mode, the trigger control mechanism causes the-actuation lever to move and remain in the actuating position such that the tool is actuated each time the workpiece-contacting element contacts a workpiece and moves to the activated position causing the actuation lever to contact the actuating pin and initiate an actuation of the tool.
Dry-Fire Bypass for a Fastening Tool
A fastening tool includes a contact trip operatively associated with a contact trip switch to enable a fastener drive system to be fired when the contact trip reaches a firing position, after having engaged a work surface. if a dry-fire condition exists in a magazine connected to the fastening tool, the movement of the contact trip is completely taken up or absorbed by a biasing agent so that the contact trip switch is not closed. The biasing agent also limits the amount of force that can be applied to the contact trip switch in the event an operator slams the contact trip against a work surface or drops the fastening tool nose-first onto an unyielding surface.
WORKING TOOL
A tool having a working piston that moves along a working axis, a drive, for driving the working piston along the working axis, the drive having an electrical capacitor, a squirrel-cage rotor arranged on the working piston and an excitation coil, wherein current flows through the coil during rapid discharge of the capacitor and generates a magnetic field that accelerates the working piston, the tool having a frame of a soft-magnetic and electrically conducting material surrounding the excitation coil and extending in a circumferential direction with respect to the working axis, the frame having one or more at least partial interruptions, which extend over a significant part of a radial extent of the frame with respect to the working axis.
Driver
A driver includes a pressure chamber, a striking portion, an operation member, and a contact member, and can select a first mode and a second mode. The driver further includes a first ventilation passage, a second ventilation passage, and opening/closing mechanisms. The opening/closing mechanisms have a first state to open the first ventilation passage and close the second ventilation passage in the first mode, a second state, when an operation force is applied to the operation member within a time from when the second mode is selected and the contact member contacts a workpiece, to close the first ventilation passage and open the second ventilation passage, and a third state, when an operation force is applied to the operation member within a time from when the second mode is selected and the contact member is separated from the workpiece, to close the second ventilation passage.
