Nosepiece latch mechanism for a fastening tool
A fastening tool having a latch mechanism that performs a tool-free jam release of a jammed fastener in the nosepiece. The latch mechanism includes a latch plate that is secured to the nose portion of a nosepiece assembly by a latch member and is pivotably releasable from the nose portion by a user's fingers.
Power tool having latched pusher assembly
A magazine for use with a fastening tool. The magazine can have a pusher assembly that can be retracted into a recess in the magazine to facilitate loading and reloading of fasteners. The pusher assembly can have a pusher assembly knob which can be reversibly latched to a detent to maintain the pusher assembly in a retracted state. The fastening tool can use a magazine which can be reloaded by a method which has a step of reversibly retracting the pusher assembly into the retracted state to allow for feeding one or more fasteners to the magazine.
Handheld Fastener Installation Guide
A handheld guide for advancing and installing a decking fastener with an elongate track with a rail and an advancement member. The advancement member carries a pivoting pawl with an engagement surface for advancing fasteners forward through the track to an installation position with a frontmost fastener aligned with a screw guide for driving a screw through the frontmost fastener. The rail has a ramp transitioning to a cliff and a lower ledge such that the frontmost fastener is maintained forward of the cliff above the ledge in the installation position. The pawl pivots to disengage from the fasteners when the advancement member moves rearwardly along the track.

Powered fastening device with depth shutoff
A powered fastening device is provided and is capable of applying multiple strikes to a fastener to drive the fastener to a preselected depth in a work piece and then automatically stopping the strikes when the preselected depth has been achieved.
Nail machine with effort-saving mechanism
A nail machine with effort-saving mechanism is provided, including: a shell body; an operating mechanism, disposed on the shell body and including a pressing lever, a driving rod and a linkage, the operating mechanism provided for being operated to move between a first position and a second position; an actuating member, two ends thereof having a sliding portion and an engaging portion respectively; a striking force accumulating mechanism, including a striking board and a force accumulating member, the striking board being movable between an initial position and a releasing position; wherein when the operating mechanism moves toward the second position, the engaging portion is engaged with the striking board, and the striking board moves toward the releasing position; when the operating mechanism is in the second position, the engaging portion is detached from the striking board, and the striking board moves toward the initial position.
Electric Staple Punch
A fastener driver apparatus suitable for guiding and driving electrical staples into timber or on any other suitable mounting surface is presented. The fastener driver contains a driver body, a driver rod, and a fastener guide. The driver body contains a first driver channel and a mounting end. The mounting end is positioned adjacent to the driver body. The first driver channel traverses through the driver body and the mounting end. The driver rod is slidably connected to the driver body. The fastener guide is connected adjacent to the mounting end.
STAPLE GUN
A staple gun is adapted for driving out a frontmost staple of a staple strip and a frontmost press piece of a press piece strip simultaneously. The staple gun includes a casing unit adapted for receiving the staple strip and the press piece strip, a striker unit adapted for striking the frontmost staple and the frontmost press piece out of the casing unit through an exit opening, and a loading unit including a staple holder, a press piece pusher that is adapted to abut against a rear end of the press piece strip, and a press piece spring that is connected between the press piece pusher and the staple holder for maintaining contact between the press piece strip and a front portion of the casing unit.
Staple tool
Disclosed is a tool for driving a barbed staple into a workpiece, the tool includes a housing enclosing a power delivery source and a driver blade driven by the power delivery source and comprising an engagement portion configured for engagement with the staple. The tool further includes a nosepiece comprising an aperture providing access for loading a staple into the nosepiece and a passage configured for slidable mounting of the driver blade. In use, the driver blade may be driven along a longitudinal axis of the passage by the power delivery source to engage and drive a staple into a workpiece. Clearances are providing to allow for loading and passage of the barbed staples in the nosepiece and arrangements are provided to maintain the alignment of the staple in the nosepiece to compensate for those clearances.
