A rotary hammer drill adapter. The rotary hammer drill adapter includes an elongated body having a shank end and a bit end. The bit end is disposed on an opposing end of the elongated body relative to the shank end. The shank end has a plurality of grooves disposed on opposing sides of the elongated body and a plurality of sliding keyways disposed on opposing sides of the elongated body. Each of the plurality of sliding keyways is disposed between a pair of the plurality of grooves. The bit end further includes an interface which is adapted to receive complementary bits.

In one aspect, an apparatus includes an impact tool anvil extending along an axis of extension and having a faceted drive end and a shaft body which is connected to the faceted drive end through a transition region that couples respective faces of the faceted drive end to the shaft body, the transition region including a sweeping radius surface having a first axial end and a second axial end, the first axial end connected to a respective face of the faceted drive end, the first axial end having a tangency with the respective face of the faceted drive end; and an angular transition having a slope that radially rises from the second axial end of the sweeping radius surface to the shaft body.

The reciprocating ram structure comprises a rod structure having a proximal end coupled with the power portion. The reciprocating ram structure further comprises an offset member connected to a distal end of the rod structure. The offset member has a first hole and a second hole. The distal end of the rod structure is connected to the first hole, wherein the offset member and the rod structure are connected perpendicular to each other. The reciprocating ram structure further comprises an interchangeable adaptor end tool detachably connected to the offset member using a fastening mechanism at the second hole.
