Tool having a pump and a motor on a common shaft

A tool includes at least one motor, and a pump connected to the motor, a work cylinder in fluid connection with the pump and an actuable tool component connected to the work cylinder. The pump and the motor are arranged directly adjacent on a common singular motor and pump shaft, without any intervening coupling, transmission or the like. An assembly of a motor and a pump on a common shaft.

Tool having a pump and a pump

A portable tool capable of being moved by persons, users and/or operators includes a motor; an actuable tool component at least connectable to the work cylinder; an add-on from a group at least including an extension, a connection and a fork, configured to be placed on the tool; and a controller connected to the motor and configured to determine presence of the add-on on the tool to selectively increase or reduce motor force and/or speed, depending on detected presence or absence of the add-on.

Automatic oil return structure for piston pump

An automatic oil return structure is provided. The automatic oil return structure has an oil storage bag, a piston, and a main body assembly. The piston has an oil storage chamber. The main body assembly has a main channel, a piston oil channel, a pressure regulating channel, a control channel, an operation channel, a minor channel, and an oil return channel. When the pressure of the main channel achieves a limit pressure, the pressure pushes the control blocking assembly away such that the pressure regulating channel communicates with the communication channel, and the pressure also pushes the operating assembly away such that the minor channel communicates with the return channel. At the same time, the pressure of the oil storage chamber pushes the oil blocking assembly, so as to isolate the oil storage chamber from the main channel, and the oil storage chamber communicates with the oil return channel.

DUAL ACTION HYDRAULIC PISTON ASSEMBLY

A dual action hydraulic piston assembly including a cylinder having first and second inlet ports on a first end and an outlet port on a second end, a conduit connected to the first inlet port and extending into the cylinder, an inner ram slidable along an outer surface of the conduit, and an outer ram slidable between the inner ram and the cylinder. The inner and outer rams are configured to move together toward the second end of the cylinder in response to a fluid being displaced via the first inlet port into the conduit, which displaces a second fluid through the outlet port at a first flow rate. The outer ram is configured to move toward the second end of the cylinder in response to a fluid being displaced via the second inlet port, which displaces the second fluid through the outlet port at a second flow rate.

Pressing tool for pressing workpieces

A pressing tool for pressing workpieces is described. The pressing tool comprises a hydraulic pump for conveying a hydraulic fluid, an electric motor for driving the hydraulic pump, a working cylinder which is hydraulically connected to an outlet of the hydraulic pump, a pressure-relief valve which is hydraulically connected to the outlet of the hydraulic pump and which opens at a certain predefined pressure P.sub.v of the hydraulic fluid, an electronic control for controlling the electric motor and a sensor 60 which monitors the state of the pressure-relief valve and emits a signal which describes the state of the pressure-relief valve to the electronic control. Furthermore, a method of operating such a pressing tool is described.

Extension tool having a plurality of links

An extension tool includes a plurality of sequentially arranged links moveable to a first position, the plurality of sequentially arranged links rigidly fixed to one another in the first position, the plurality of sequentially arranged links defining a first passage and a second passage, the second passage being separate from the first passage when the plurality of sequentially arranged links are rigidly fixed to one another.

A grinder includes a locking assembly to lock a spindle in a head housing and has outlets with a large opening area for high cooling efficiency. A grinder includes a main housing accommodating a motor and a fan, a spindle, a locking assembly that locks rotation of the spindle, and a head housing including a joint connected to a front of the main housing, and a compartment accommodating the spindle and the locking assembly. The compartment is laterally less wide than the joint. The locking assembly is located at a middle in a lateral direction of the head housing. The joint has, in a portion of a front surface of the joint, a first outlet at least on a right or a left of the compartment to discharge air for cooling the motor generated from rotation of the fan.

Insert for a power tool housing

Inserts disposed in a housing of a pneumatically or hydraulically powered tool having a motor adapted to rotate a drive lug in either of first and second rotational directions. The insert is composed of a material resistive to creep and/or stress relaxation. The insert contacts fasteners applying a clamping force to the tool and remove the housing from the load path of the clamping force, thereby reducing the possibility of fluid leaks.
