The stand head assembly (10) comprises a coupling (12) to facilitate coupling between an object to be supported and a stand body (14). The coupling (12) has an object face (16) adapted for operative attachment to the object to be supported, and an opposing support face (18) adapted for operative attachment to the stand body (16). The stand head assembly further comprises a drive assembly (20) which is operatively associated with the stand body (14) and adapted for attachment to the coupling (12). The drive assembly (20) includes a drive dog (22) which is operatively adapted to impart pivotal movement to the coupling. A securing assembly (24) is provided which is operatively adapted to secure the coupling to the drive assembly. The coupling (12) includes a drive slot (26) operatively associated with the drive dog (22) of the drive assembly. The drive slot is operatively adapted (i) to receive and hold the drive dog (22) and (ii) to provide a contact surface (28) to be acted upon by the drive dog (22) so as in use to impart pivotal movement to the coupling (12) and the object to which the coupling is mounted. In one embodiment the stand head assembly is incorporated in an engine stand.

WORK PART DELIVERY SYSTEM AND APPARATUS

Systems and methods are provided for delivering a work part to an assembly line worker using a dolly assembly in a first configuration and retrieving the work part from the dolly assembly by the assembly line work while the dolly assembly is in a second configuration. According to some embodiments, a dolly assembly is provided comprising a base assembly having a support member and a mobility mechanism, the support member positioned obliquely with respect to a horizontal plane. The dolly assembly also includes a part-carrying member rotationally connected to the support member and having a part-holding structure for receiving a work part. The part-carrying member extends downward at an angle below the horizontal plane when in a first configuration, and extends upward from at an angle above the horizontal plane when in a second configuration.

A door lift apparatus for removing and/or installing a door of a vehicle by lifting the door from or onto hinges of the vehicle. The door lift apparatus includes a support frame, a cradle for receiving the door, and a displacement device configured to raise and lower the cradle relative to the support frame, and may further include a lateral stabilizer to prevent or limit lateral movement of the cradle relative to the support frame and/or a leveling shim to maintain the door in a substantially level position when supported. A door storage apparatus configured to be used with the door lift apparatus has a hanger arm configured to extend through a window opening of the door and support the door. A door glide slidably mounted on the hanger arm provides a mechanism to move the door axially back and forth along the hanger arm without scratching the door.

Display device for outboard motor

A display device for an outboard motor includes a storage device storing unique information of the outboard motor. The display device for the outboard motor has a gauge mode and a service tool mode as display modes. By mounting the display device for the outboard motor to a specific boat, both an operating state of the outboard motor and the unique information of the outboard motor are displayable in the gauge mode. Only the unique information of the outboard motor is displayable in the service tool mode. The display modes are configured to be switched between the gauge mode and the service tool mode.
