Safety utility knives and methods
A safety utility knife includes a pair of blades at one end of a handle. The cutting edges of both blades are configured to be shielded by a guard member. The guard member is movable with relation to the blade member.
Safety Knife with Slidable Grip
A safety knife functions as both a box cutter and a separate line cutter. A slidable grip is manually displaceable between two stable safety positions. In one safety position, the grip obstructs access to a forwardly projecting blade. In a second safety position, the grip obstructs access to the line cutter.

CUTTER
A cutter includes a main body, a cutting unit, a cover, and a covering layer. The main body has a first end, a second end, a first surface, and a second surface. The cutting unit is coupled to the first end. The cover is assembled and secured to an accommodating cavity of the first surface. The covering layer covers a first side and a second side of the main body and the accommodating cavity. Thereby, the cutting unit can be quickly replaced and the diversity of products can be achieved through different covers.
Cutting device
A cutting device is disclosed. The cutting device has a housing assembly, a cutting assembly that is movably disposed in the housing assembly, the cutting assembly being movable in a first axis, between a retracted position and an extended position, and an urging member disposed between the housing assembly and the cutting assembly. The cutting assembly includes a cutting member. The cutting assembly includes an end assembly, which is actuatable in the first axis, and a movable member that is movable relative to the cutting assembly. When the end assembly is actuated, the urging member biases the cutting assembly in the first axis toward the retracted position. When the end assembly is actuated, the end assembly moves the movable member in a second axis that is different from the first axis.
Rolling utility knife
A utility knife (100) includes a body portion (120) including a sleeve portion (124) at a first end thereof and a heel portion (122) at a second end thereof, and a blade (110) that extends from the sleeve portion. The body portion includes a wheel assembly (140) including a wheel (142) rotatably disposed about a hub (146). The wheel is configured to support the utility knife during a cutting operation relative to a material being cut. The wheel is disposed on the hub to enable axial movement of the wheel to change an alignment of the wheel relative to the blade.
QUICK-CHANGE CUTTING BLADE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A quick-change cutting assembly includes a base having a support surface for supporting a cutting blade, a clamping arm having a clamping surface, a spring interposed between the base and the clamping arm, and a pivot defining a pivot axis between the spring and the clamping surface that couples the clamping arm to the base. The spring biases the clamping surface toward the support surface and a cutting blade therebetween. The clamping arm is pivotable between a closed position where the clamping surface is parallel to the support surface and an open position removed from the closed position where the clamping surface is spaced further from the support surface. The cutting assembly further includes a locking pin transverse the direction of biasing action of the spring that connects the clamping arm to the base to prevent the clamping arm from pivoting relative to the base when in the closed position.
Seam Cutting Assembly
A seam cutting assembly includes a holder that has a blade slot therein, a cutting space and a hooked end extending partially across the cutting space. The hooked end abuts a wall having a wall covering being positioned in the cutting space. A blade is provided and the blade is slidable into the blade slot. The blade extends into the cutting space when the blade is positioned in the blade slot for cutting the wall covering. The hooked end is positioned beneath the blade when the blade is inserted into the blade slot to inhibit the blade from cutting the wall. A sleeve is slidable over the holder and the blade when the blade is positioned in the blade slot such that the sleeve retains the blade in the blade slot.
Scraper
A scraper includes a body having a handle portion, a first clamping portion, and a second clamping portion. The first clamping portion and the second clamping portion integrally extends from an end of the handle portion. The second clamping portion is pivotable relative to the first clamping portion. The second clamping portion includes a first coupling member disengageably engaged with the first clamping portion. The first coupling member is configured to flex when subjected to a force, thereby disengaging from the first clamping portion. A control member is disposed on the first clamping portion and is configured to flex when subjected to force. Flexing of the control member pushes the first coupling member to thereby disengage the first coupling member from the first clamping portion. A blade is removably mounted between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion.
Adjustable wall trimming device
An easily adjustable trimming tool for precisely cutting the edge of carpeting and other types of sheet material. The tool is an easily grippable block that is constructed as a two-part molded plastic block, each part having molded ribs and reinforcing fastener bores that make for a lightweight, yet sturdy device that is economical to manufacture. Cutter assemblies and an adjustable heel allow for an easy adjustment to the length of the blade, so as to enable a long cut, standard cut, or short cut.
