Handle with lighting effect
A handle having illuminating features, such as on a utility tool, the handle having a housing made up of a first housing section and a second housing section that mate with each other to define a cavity, the first housing section having a plurality of slots through which an internally positioned set of LEDs can emit. The second housing section may similarly have a plurality of protrusions and a second set of LEDs to transmit light. Translucent diffusers may be positioned between the LEDs and their respective housing sections. The utility tool may have additional tools that are spring-loaded to facilitate opening the tools and maintaining the tools in a closed configuration.
Knife having an RFID transponder arranged on the tang
A knife includes a knife blade having a tang and an RFID transponder which is fixed to the tang. A knife handle surrounds the tang and the RFID transponder. The knife blade is produced from metal, in particular steel. The RFID transponder has an antenna and at least a portion of the antenna of the RFID transponder is constructed in a planar manner and is arranged parallel with a planar lateral face of the tang. In another embodiment, the antenna of the RFID transponder is galvanically connected to the tang. The knife having the RFID transponder increases the reliability of the reading by an RFID reading device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING UTENSILS IN SLAUGHTERHOUSES, AND UTENSIL
The present invention relates to a system for monitoring utensils (100) in slaughterhouses, comprising: at least one utensil (100) comprising at least one readable medium (110) identifying the at least one utensil (100); at least one reading device (210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280) in at least one specific location of the slaughterhouse, reading the at least one readable medium (110) of at least one utensil (100) for collecting at least one data relative to said utensil (100); wherein the data collected by the reading device (210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280) is stored in at least one of a hardware and a cloud database.
Personal Safety Device
A protective device and a method of transmitting an alert from the device, in which the protective device is handheld and includes a flexible sheath disposed between an upper member and a lower member. When the device is compressed, elongated defensive components protrude through openings in the upper member. In some cases, the upper member also includes protruding portions extending upward from the upper member and/or an arm portion extending outward to a side of the device. A signal alert may be automatically transmitted upon device compression.
MULTI-TASKING UTILITY TOOL
A utility tool comprising a body having a first end and a second end positioned on opposite ends of the body; a removable device; as well as a first tool and a second tool configured to be selectively coupled to each other or one of either the first end and second end of the body.
BRACELET WITH INTEGRATED KNIFE
A bracelet or flexible band comprised of a flexible member that on one end is interconnected to a knife and on another end, is connected to a sheath that selectively receives the knife in the locking fashion. When needed, the knife is rotated within the sheath to facilitate release thereof from a lock that is integral with the sheath. Once removed from the sheath, the knife can be used for self-defense, cutting rope or cord in an emergency situation, or for general utility cutting tasks.
LINEAR MULTITOOL
Various embodiments of substantially linear multitools are disclosed. One embodiment provides multitool having a first handle segment having a first handle portion and a second handle portion, the first handle segment having an internal channel housing a first pivot tool arm, a second handle segment having a third handle portion and a fourth handle portion, the second handle segment having an internal channel housing a second pivot tool arm, a pivot to rotatably couple the first pivot tool arm to the second pivot tool arm to create a pivot tool, wherein the pivot can rotate the first pivot tool arm and second pivot tool arm into a substantially straight arrangement allowing the first handle segment to be collinear with the second handle segment when the multitool is in a closed orientation.
Multi-tasking utility tool
A utility tool comprising a body having a first end and a second end positioned on opposite ends of the body; a removable device; as well as a first tool and a second tool configured to be selectively coupled to each other or one of either the first end and second end of the body.
MULTI-PURPOSE FLASHLIGHT
A multi-purpose flashlight having a plurality of internal and external accessories that are designed to allow the user to perform a variety of activities which increases the utility of the flashlight. Said multi-purpose flashlight includes a handle assembly and main body assembly. The handle assembly of the flashlight includes a cutting and opening assembly, a magnetic attachment means, and a bit attachment means. Meanwhile, the main body assembly including a lighter assembly, a lighting assembly, and a removable cap including a glass-breaker, the removable cap being configured to removably enclose the lighter assembly.
HANDHELD LIGHTING DEVICE WITH DETACHABLE KNIFE
A handheld lighting device is provided with a detachable knife assembly. In one example, the handheld lighting device may include a light source that generates a light beam to illuminate a scene, such as a work area. The knife assembly may be coupled to the lighting device using an attachment mechanism. The lighting device may include a slot that may receive a sleeve of the knife assembly such that the knife assembly may be secured to the lighting device. The lighting device may illuminate the work area such that a user may readily see the area that a knife of the knife assembly may cut. The light source of the lighting device may be activated using a multi-access user control that may be L-shaped and actuated from one or more locations on the user control. Additional features and related methods are also provided.
