The utility tool includes a removable blade cartridge having a blade cartridge body having a recess slot and a knife slot, a knife blade and a guide. The knife blade is positionable within the recess slot and slides between an open position and a closed position.
Knife with integral sealed power source
A folding knife is provided with a power storage device that can be charged and recharged by a charge component that wirelessly receives power from a remote source. In some embodiments, the folding knife can have a device that consumes energy such as a light, a camera, a microphone, an audio speaker, etc. The power storage device and the charge component can be positioned in a scale of the handle where the substantially planar shapes of the scale, the power storage device, and the charge component are oriented in a common direction. In some embodiments, the cavities, recesses, and channels in the first scale that house these components and linking wires are strategically positioned to leave a reinforcing area that provides strength and stiffness to the handle. Various features are also described herein that improve safety of the charging system.
HAND-HELD TOOL AND FUNCTIONAL PART FOR A DETENT CONNECTION WITH A GRIP REGION OF A HAND-HELD TOOL
A hand-held tool has two tool parts which are arranged so as to cross one another in a joint region, each tool part forming a working region on one side of the joint region and a grip region on the other side. Each grip region is arranged in a first or second grip sleeve and the first and/or second grip sleeve is provided with a functional part. The first and/or second grip sleeve includes a passage opening extending in a longitudinal direction of the first and/or second grip sleeve and forming a first and/or second opening having a free opening cross-section. The functional part can be inserted into the passage opening in order to mount it on the first and/or second grip sleeve. The first and/or second opening is of substantially elongate rectangular design with respect to a cross-section transverse to a passage direction of the passage opening.
BRACELET WITH INTEGRATED KNIFE
A bracelet or flexible band comprised of a flexible member that on one end is interconnected to a knife and on another end, is connected to a sheath that selectively receives the knife in the locking fashion. When needed, the knife is rotated within the sheath to facilitate release thereof from a lock that is integral with the sheath. Once removed from the sheath, the knife can be used for self-defense, cutting rope or cord in an emergency situation, or for general utility cutting tasks.
Dynamic nutrition tracking utensils
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for dynamic nutrition tracking with utensils. Example methods may include receiving an image of a first food item positioned at a first location and a second food item positioned at a second location, the image comprising location metadata, determining, based at least in part on the image and the location metadata, a first set of coordinates corresponding to a first perimeter of the first location of the first food item, and determining a second set of coordinates corresponding to a second perimeter of the second location of the second food item. Example methods may include determining that a utensil performed a gesture associated with a food consumption event, determining that an origination point of the food consumption utensil at a start of the gesture was within the first perimeter, and identifying a weight measurement of a food portion on the utensil.
