Membrane delamination device
Particular embodiments disclosed herein provide a membrane delamination device for delaminating a membrane from a retina of an eye. The membrane delamination device comprises a blade, a first lever coupled to the blade, and a second lever coupled to the blade. The first lever and the second lever are at least partially housed by a first shaft of a hand-piece. The first lever is fixedly coupled to the first shaft. The second lever is fixedly coupled to the hand-piece. The blade at least partially extends beyond a distal end of the first shaft. The membrane delamination device is configured to be actuated as a result of longitudinal movement of the second lever within and in relation to the first shaft. The second lever moves longitudinally within and in relation to the first shaft due to an application of force to the second lever through the hand-piece.

UTILITY KNIFE
A knife having an elongated housing having a channel-shaped laterally open recess and forming first and second housing surfaces, a blade, a support having a support outer surface and pivotal about an axis on the housing between an operating position and a blade-replacement position, and a cover having a cover outer surface and movable on the support between a position holding the blade against the support and a position free of the blade, the first and second housing surfaces tapering relative to each other in a clamping region or the outer surfaces tapering relative to each other in the clamping region. In the operating position the support is inside the housing and holds the blade inside the housing with only a part of a cutting edge of the blade exposed in the recess for engagement with material to be cut.
FIXED BLADE KNIFE SHEATH ASSEMBLY
A knife sheath assembly having a knife blade receiving opening chamber with a knife handle engagement stopper. A pair of rigid sheath shells are secured together by edge shell engagement fittings. Each sheath shell defines a contoured recess knife receiving portion that encloses the knife blade when assembled. The sheath shells are formed of non-abrasive synthetic material to safely engage and hold the knife blade without insertion or retrieval damage thereto.

Throwing knife with detachable guard
A knife adapted for competitive knife-throwing that includes removable guards that can be added in the case that the knife throwing is directed toward a target with holes therethrough. The removable guards can be put in place prior to throwing at such a target to provide a stop against the hazard of the knife potentially moving through a hole and hitting an unintended target.

Knife Sheath Adapters, Systems and Methods
New devices, methods and systems for stowing and carrying knives, and, in particular, to adapting knife sheaths to fit in different ways when worn and carried by a user, are provided. In some aspects, specialized knife sheaths and knife sheath adapters are provided, allowing a user to change the angle and orientation of a knife when stored on or about a user’s body. In some embodiments, such knife sheath adapters include both belt-mounting and sheath-mounting hardware, configured to mount onto a belt and a sheath simultaneously. In some embodiments, such a knife sheath adapter is configured to allow a user to carry a knife and sheath in a wide variety of configurations and orientations, according to a user’s preference.
