The cutting apparatus includes a mount flange on which the cutting blade is mounted and a replacement apparatus that replaces the cutting blade mounted on the mount flange with the cutting blade for replacement. The replacement apparatus includes a rotating part, a first holding part that holds the cutting blade mounted on the mount flange on a front surface side, a second holding part that holds the cutting blade for replacement on a front surface side, and a nut rotation part that has a nut holding part that holds a nut for fixing the cutting blade to the mount flange and rotates the nut held by the nut holding part. The rotating part is coupled to the first holding part, the second holding part, and the nut rotation part.

Vegetable knife having a pulverizing coring pin

A vegetable knife includes a pulverizing coring pin for pulverizing a core of a vegetable, where the pulverizing coring pin can be a generally cylindrical tube. The pulverizing coring pin can define one or more pulverizing tubes that extend from a first end of the pulverizing coring pin to a second end of the pulverizing coring pin opposite the first end. The vegetable knife also includes at least one vegetable shaping blade that extends radially outwardly from the pulverizing coring pin, where the at least one vegetable shaping blade supports the pulverizing coring pin at a location generally central with respect to the vegetable knife. The vegetable knife may also include an outer flange for coupling the vegetable knife to a rotatable cutting assembly. The vegetable shaping blade can be connected between the outer flange and the pulverizing coring pin for supporting the pulverizing coring pin.

PROPELLER AND METHOD IN WHICH A PROPELLER IS SET INTO MOTION
20230088973 · 2023-03-23 ·

A method where a propeller is set into locomotion relative to a medium at least partially surrounding the propeller. An actuator induces a rotation of the propeller relative to the medium and about a rotational axis of the propeller, and the propeller converts its rotational movement into locomotion relative to the medium. The aspect ratio of at least one cross-section of the propeller is three or more. Also a helical or modifiedly helical propeller for converting rotational movement of the propeller into locomotion of the propeller relative to a medium at least partially surrounding the propeller, where the aspect ratio of at least one cross section of the propeller is three or more. And a method of producing a propeller, including the step of providing a plate extending along the helical axis, where the aspect ratio of at least one cross section of the plate is three or more.

For example, laser shock peening can be applied in regions of drive ends of harvester components, and/or in regions proximate fastener holes of such harvester components.

Severing a Cable Tie with a Rounded Cut
20230128208 · 2023-04-27 ·

This document describes techniques, apparatuses, and systems for severing a cable tie with a rounded cut. Using a cable tie severing tool, a cable tie may be looped around an object and a tail portion received through a nosepiece assembly. A head of the cable tie may be aligned using an alignment indicator to ensure a rounded cut of the serrated portion of the cable tie at a finite distance from the head portion of the cable tie. A blade member may be displaced to sever the serrated portion of the cable tie and produce a rounded cut free of sharp edges. In this manner, the likelihood of abrasive damage from contacting the rounded cut may be reduced.
