CHAINSAW CHAINS
A chainsaw chain includes a plurality of drive links, a plurality of cutters, and a plurality of rivets. Each drive link includes a drive link body, a rivet hole extending through the drive link body, and a tang configured to engage a drive element of a chainsaw. Each cutter includes a cutter body having a rivet hole extending therethrough, a cutting tooth coupled to an upper portion of the cutter body, a carbide cutting tip coupled to the cutting tooth, a feed limiter coupled to the upper portion of the cutter body and spaced from the cutting tooth, and a gullet defined between the cutting tooth and the feed limiter. The plurality of rivets is received within corresponding rivet holes of the plurality of drive links and the plurality of cutters, to couple the plurality of drive links and the plurality of cutters together.
Link elements for improved flexible abrasive cutting tools
An element for serial configuration with an adjacent element in an abrasive tool, wherein the element is arranged to be mounted on a flexible drive carrier having a drive direction D. The element comprising at least one protruding member extending in a direction parallel to the drive direction D. The at least one protruding member being configured to overlap with the adjacent element at least when the flexible drive carrier has a straight configuration, and to reduce a width of a gap G formed between the element and the adjacent element when the flexible drive carrier is configured bent in an arcuate form.
CHAIN OF CHAIN SAW
Provided is a chain of a chain saw. In a chin saw including a chain which cuts an object to be cut while being rotated in an infinite trajectory, the chain includes a drive link in which an abrasive is mounted on an upper portion thereof, a pair of side links which are fastened to connect neighboring drive links, and a connection pin which is mounted by passing through overlapping portions of the drive link and the side links. The drive link and the side links may absorb rotational friction so that a rivet can withstand well. By a technical configuration for simply replacing, removing and assembling the assembly of the drive link and side links which become loose, power transmitted to the drive link may be provided as cutting force as it is, thereby improving cutting efficiency.

Cutting member of a saw chain, saw chain having a cutting member and files for filing a cutting tooth of a saw chain
A cutting member of a saw chain has a cutting tooth and a cutting surface having at least one cutting edge. In a side view, looking in a sharpening direction, a first line connects an intersection between an upper edge of a roof section and the cutting surface to an intersection between an imaginary line, which extends parallel to the upper edge, and the cutting surface. A second line connects an intersection between the upper edge and an imaginary displacement of the cutting surface parallel to the contact surface at a position in which a tooth tip of the cutting tooth lies perpendicular to the running direction above a longitudinal center axis of the rearward bearing point, to a point of intersection between the imaginary line and the imaginary displacement of the cutting surface. The contact surface is aligned such that the first and second line extend in parallel.
Tie rivet for saw chain
Embodiments provide a tie rivet with a body that is configured to ride on a rail of a guide bar, and an integrated rivet extending from an inner surface of the body. The integrated rivet may include a draft angle that varies over a circumference of the integrated rivet. Additionally, or alternatively, the tie rivet may include an undercut portion around at least a portion of the integrated rivet. The undercut portion may be recessed from the inner surface of the body. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Chipper chain and motor-driven chain saw having a chipper chain
The invention relates to a chipper chain (10) for a motor-driven chain saw (9) as well as a chain saw having such a chipper chain (10). The chipper chain (10) includes drive links (1), connecting links (2), and cutting links (3). The drive links (1) each have a drive projection (4). The cutting links (3) each have an upper cutting blade (5) and a depth limiter (6) which leads the upper cutting blade (5). The chipper chain (10) has a maximum width (A) which is defined by the upper cutting blades (5), a maximum height (C) which is measured perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis and extends from the drive projection (3) to the upper cutting blade (5), and an average divide (T) predetermined by the average distance of adjacent pivot pins (7). The product of the maximum width (A), the maximum height (C), and the average divide (T) is 450 mm.sup.3. The driving power of the motor-driven chain saw (9) is 1.0 kW.
Cutting strand segment
