A method for coating a paper drinking straw, an apparatus for coating a paper drinking straw, and a coated drinking straw assembly are disclosed. The apparatus includes a dipping tank containing a liquid bath for coating a straw when submerged in the liquid and a straw engagement means for submerging the straw in the bath. The method includes receiving an uncoated paper drinking straw and submerging the straw in a bath containing a water-resistant and/or a water-soluble coating. The drinking straw assembly includes an elongate tubular body and a coating that has been applied to all surfaces of the straw by submerging the body in a bath containing the coating.

The panels and ties may utilize sets of holes to enable connection and size adjustment, thus preventing the apparatus from consuming too much space on the bed and simultaneously ensuring that the user's arm is comfortably supported during sleep. Shifting aligned holes in the panels and ties allows for adjustment of the diameter of the arm space. An inner padding within the arm opening created by the panels ensures that the user's arm is cushioned from the rigid panels. Similarly, an outer padding prevents the user's head from contacting the panels and ties while the user rests. Thus, the apparatus may prevent damage or discomfort to an extremity during sleep.

The paper material is stretched from the feeding device to the pressing device which curls the paper material. When the paper material is delivered to the sticking device, the two sides of the paper material are pressed by the sticking device to form the paper pipe, and the press roll of the sticking device rolls and sticks the two abutting portions of the paper pipe. Then, the paper pipe is delivered by the conveyor device to the cutting device which cuts the paper pipe to form drinking straws.

Plastic composition with spent filter media filler

Spent filter media material may be blended with a classic material, such as high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene succinate, or polylactic acid, to form a filled plastic composition. The spent filter media may include spent diatomaceous earth, spent perlite, and/or residues thereof. The composition may be performed by co-extruding a mixture of the plastic material and the spent filter media. Surprisingly, the spent filter media may be used as-supplied and without the need to dry the material. The resulting plastic composite material has numerous uses, including, for example, litter scoops and eating utensils.

The present invention relates to a processing method for coating glass container with silicone rubber and a glass container coated with silicone rubber by the processing method. The processing method comprises: cleaning a glass container body and performing a first drying treatment; brushing or spraying a primer on a surface of a part of the glass container body, wherein the surface of the part of the glass container body is to be coated with silicone rubber; performing a second drying treatment on the glass container body, and then cooling the glass container body to a room temperature; putting the glass container body into a mold cavity of a mold, injecting the liquid silicone rubber into the mold cavity, and vulcanizing the liquid silicone rubber for 200 to 300 seconds; opening the mold and letting the mold sliding out, and taking out the glass container coated with the silicone rubber layer.
