BUILDING MATERIAL MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
To provide a building material manufacturing apparatus that is suitable for suppressing clogging of a screen that screens a building raw material.
A building material manufacturing apparatus X1 includes at least a screen part 10 and a cleaning mechanism part 40. The screen part 10 includes at least one screen sheet 12 that has an inclination and that has a screen mesh. The cleaning mechanism part 40 includes a scraping part 40a. When the apparatus operates in a building material manufacturing mode in which a building raw material M is supplied to the screen sheet 12 and the screen sheet 12 is performing a wave motion, the scraping part 40a is separated from the screen sheet 12, and, when the apparatus operates in a cleaning mode in which the building raw material M is not supplied to the screen sheet 12 and the screen sheet 12 is not performing a wave motion, the scraping part 40a rotates in contact with the screen sheet 12.
AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING MANHOLE PRODUCTS AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An automated system and associated method of producing manhole products includes an area closed production loop where molds are moved to discrete workstations. A standard set of tasks (e.g., mold cleaning and release agent application, reinforcement placement, pre-pouring activities and inspection, filling, curing, and product demolding) are performed at various ones of the workstations. Once one of these tasks is completed, the mold moves to the next workstation. This enables a transition from ‘cast on the floor’ method to an assembly line principle.
METHODS OF FABRICATION OF CERAMIC MIRROR BLANKS
The disclosure relates to methods of fabricating of ceramic structures, and more particularly to methods of fabricating ceramic structures having profiled surfaces and more particularly to methods of fabrication of ceramic mirror blanks. In one embodiment, a method of forming a shaped ceramic article, includes: forming, via one of a cold-pressing process or pressure casting process, a green ceramic article comprising a first surface, an opposing second surface and at least one high aspect ratio feature shaped into at least one surface; heating the green featured ceramic part to form a debound featured ceramic part; and densifying the debound featured ceramic part via one of a pressureless sintering process or a hot-pressing process.
METHOD AND CASTING MOLD, IN PARTICULAR FOR USE IN COLD CASTING METHODS
The invention relates to a casting mold, in particular for use in cold casting methods, which is produced with the aid of a powder-based layering method, the final casting mold having a treated surface.

Method of producing limestone-simulating concrete
A new process for creating a decorative surface on a cast concrete tile. A mold is prepared by coating with mold release. An aggregate of water, coloring dye, sand, Portland cement, and preferably filler material such as pea gravel is pre-mixed. Baking soda is mixed with a significant volume of water to create a high-viscosity paste. The paste preferably has a high solid to liquid ratio so that it can be crumbled into baking soda clumps of various sizes. The dampened baking soda clumps are sprinkled randomly onto the bottom surface of the mold (which will bear against what becomes the top surface of the cast tile). The pre-mixed aggregate is then added to the mold. Once the aggregate is cured, the cast concrete tile is removed. The baking soda clumps create complex voids in the tile's upper surface, producing a surface texture similar to limestone.

METHOD, PLANT AND MOLDS FOR FORMING SLABS OF AGGLOMERATE
A method for preparation of a mold (10) intended to form a slab from a mixture of agglomerate comprising the steps of depositing over the mold surfaces a sheet (15) of PVA-based plastic material so as to form with it a surface for subsequent contact with the mixture introduced into the mold for forming the slab, whereby in at least some areas a layer (14) of a fluid agent containing PVA in a solution is interposed between the sheet (15) and the mold surfaces. A plant for carrying out the method and a method for production of a slab are also described.
