CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS INCLUDING A LUMINESCENT COMPOUND FOR PRINTING 3-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURES
Systems and methods for printing a luminescent 3-dimensional object. The method includes mixing a dry cementitious composition with water, the dry cementitious composition comprising a cementitious binder, conveying the mixture to a print head, applying the mixture and one or more luminescent compounds from the print head to form a luminescent 3-dimensional object, and curing the luminescent 3-dimensional object.
Additive manufacturing of building and other structures
Freeform, additive manufacturing equipment, processes and products, including residential, commercial and other buildings. A movable extruder places extrudate that solidifies in open space to create scaffolding or skeletons of buildings and other products. Elongated extrudate elements are fused to each other or connected by other means to form a cellular structure. Filler material such as polymeric insulating foam may simultaneously or thereafter be placed within the cellular structure to contribute desired strength, rigidity, insulative, barrier or other properties. Finish materials may also be applied.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING MARBELIZED ENGINEERED STONE
An apparatus including a computer processor; a first tool device; a first device configured to hold the first tool device; and a second device configured to move the first tool device in x, y, and z directions, when the first tool device is being held by the first device, in response to commands from the computer processor; and a conveyor device having a belt. The first tool device may include a wheel. The first device may be configured with respect to the conveyor device, so that the wheel of the first tool device is configured to be lowered in the z direction into a material located on the belt of the conveyor device, and the first tool device is configured to be moved in the x and y direction, with the wheel simultaneously rotating and rolling through the material on the belt, in response to commands from the computer processor.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ENGINEERED STONE AND AN ENGINEERED STONE
A method for manufacturing an engineered stone, the method including: providing a mixture comprising at least a stone or stone like material and a binder; compacting the mixture; curing the binder; and printing on at least a top surface of the engineered stone.
Modular printing machine for ceramic products
A digital printer machine for ceramic products, including at least one conveyor, suitable for transporting the products to be printed along a feed direction, and at least one printing module, positioned along said conveyor and comprising an operating unit with respective print heads provided with nozzles for dispensing at least one printing fluid to be deposited on the surface of the products. The printing module includes a basement provided with a recess (R), underlying the operating unit, wherein the conveyor is inserted to make the products pass under the heads; the basement further comprises two completely flat and free lateral opposite flanks, so that the printing module can be matched to other modules along the conveyor until a complete mutual matching is obtained.
One-piece protective carrying case
A carrying case for a portable electronic device is disclosed. Generally speaking, the protective case for a portable electronic device comprises a body section having a back surface and upturned sides, and a rim affixed to an edge of the upturned sides of the body sections, the rim defining an open area. Preferably, the body section is comprised of contrasting colors and forms a cavity defined by the back surface and the upturned sides. Further, the body section and the rim are preferably formed of the same material. A second protective section may be used to form a protective shell-like structure about the electronic device.
Method and Plant for Manufacturing Ceramic Products
A method and a plant (i.e., system or assembly) for manufacturing ceramic products comprising the steps of feeding a mixture of ceramic powders so as to obtain a powder material strip; compacting the powder material strip so as to obtain a compacted powder layer; acquiring a surface image of the compacted powder layer that reproduces the respective surface chromatic effects; processing said surface image so as to obtain a graphic decoration to be applied on the surface of the compacted powder layer that is coordinated with the respective chromatic effects in the thickness; and printing the graphic decoration on the surface of the compacted powder layer.
Stone slabs, systems, and methods
This document describes systems and processes for forming stone slabs, which may be suitable for use in living or working spaces (e.g., along a countertop, table, floor, shower surrounds, tiles, or the like). In some embodiments, the stone slabs may be processed by partially filling a mold with a particulate mineral mix, and preparing a top surface of the particulate mineral mix to received one or more additional materials.
COLOR PRINTING AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) PRINTING
In a color printing method example, a dispersion is jetted on at least a portion of a surface of a substrate ceramic material to form a patterned area. The dispersion includes metal oxide nanoparticles. A color in the patterned area is selectively developed by heating at least the patterned area via exposure to energy. The heat initiates a reaction between the metal oxide nanoparticles and the substrate ceramic material to produce the color.
Roof Tile for Forming a Roof Covering, Method for Manufacturing a Roof Tile and Method for Installing Roof Tiles
A method for manufacturing a roof tile, wherein the roof tile comprises a ceramic body, which is made of porcelain, and is provided with at least one hole, which is present in at least said ceramic body; wherein the method comprises at least the steps of providing a body composition; pressing the body composition; and firing the pressed body composition, and wherein, for forming said at least one hole, before said step of firing, a recess is formed in the body in the form of a blind hole or a through hole.
