A process for the production of a polymeric agglomerate obtained from expanded sulfone polymer recovered from extrusion or injection molding processes of sulfone polymer, the agglomeration of said expanded sulfone polymer being effected in said process. With respect to the known art for the production of expanded sulfone polymers that use starting virgin sulfone polymers, the present invention offers the advantage of providing a recovered expanded sulfone polymer which can be used as starting material together with the corresponding virgin sulfone polymer.

The integral device improves the heat exchange effect and preventing the polypropylene particles from aging.

Pelletization of a phosphite polymer stabilizer

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a pellet in a pellet mill, which method comprises the steps of (A) pressing a mixture for compaction by a roller through a nozzle to obtain a strand, and (B) comminuting the strand to obtain the pellet, wherein the mixture for compaction comprises (i) 87 to 97 wt. % of a polymer stabilizer, which is tris(2,4-ditert-butylphenyl) phosphite (CAS-No. 31570-04-4), and (ii) 3 to 13 wt. % of a processing aid, which is a propylene-ethylene copolymer and which possesses a melting enthalpy below 100 J/g at 101.32 kPa. The pellet is useful for a dust-free handling of its polymer stabilizer at a manufacturing of the stabilized polymer. Furthermore, a method for stabilizing a polymer, which is a polyolefin, a polystyrene or a mixture thereof, is disclosed, which comprises the dosing of the pellet to the polymer.

A method is provided for manufacturing a rigid object from a powder produced from shear stirred brown macroalgae so as to extract proteins, such as actin, from the brown macroalgae, the powder consisting of particles having an equivalent diameter smaller than or equal to 1.5 millimeters and having a residual moisture content smaller than or equal to 45%. The method includes thermo-compression of the powder in a mould, the powder being brought to a temperature between 50 and 100 C. and subjected to a pressure of between 150 and 4000 bars for 50 seconds to 45 minutes. Also provided is a method for preparing the powder.

A method is provided for manufacturing a rigid object from a powder produced from shear stirred brown macroalgae so as to extract proteins, such as actin, from the brown macroalgae, the powder consisting of particles having an equivalent diameter smaller than or equal to 1.5 millimeters and having a residual moisture content smaller than or equal to 45%.
