PROCESS FOR RECYCLING BY SEPARATING THE CONSTITUENTS OF ALUMINIZED AND PLASTIFIED PACKAGING, CARTONED OR NOT, AND CORRESPONDING EQUIPMENT
The present patent refers to a process for the recycling and recovery of waste, particularly that of plastified and aluminized packaging, cartoned or not, by means of a method and equipment for extracting and separating the main components present in them for the recovery of waste, avoiding environmental pollution, recycling of waste constituents, and recovery of constituents: Plastic, aluminum and paper in their original form, with the steps A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, L, M, O, P, Q e R, bringing advantages of obtaining reusable grade polymer; obtaining isolated aluminum; to make use of a low cost and low energy consuming solvent; to allow the pulp cellulose to be recycled in the production of paperboard for boxes, to be incorporated as part of a mechanical pulp load or even to be incorporated to the bleaching process; to have lower processing and investment costs and to have a lower cost/benefit ratio.

SPECIFIC BROMINE-BASED FLAME RETARDANT DETERMINATION METHOD AND DETERMINATION APPARATUS
A resin is irradiated with an infrared ray, and a reflected ray from the resin irradiated with the infrared ray is received. In a reflection or absorption spectrum obtained by the reflected ray, a difference of a reflection intensity in a spectrum between a first wave number band of 1340 cm.sup.−1 to 1350 cm.sup.−1, inclusive, and a second wave number band of 1300 cm.sup.−1 to 1340 cm.sup.−1, inclusive, is calculated. It is determined whether or not a specific bromine-based flame retardant is contained in the resin, by using the calculated difference of reflection intensity in the spectrum.
Woven article for carbon fiber reinforced plastic and molded product formed therefrom
A woven article for a carbon fiber reinforced plastic according to the present invention is a woven article of a spun yarn containing: about 10 wt % to about 60 wt % of a carbon fiber staple in which the content of carbon components is equal to or greater than about 97 wt %; and about 40 wt % to about 90 wt % of a thermoplastic resin fiber, wherein the carbon fiber staple is obtained by carbonizing carbon fiber reinforced plastic scrap at a temperature of about 900 to about 1400° C. The woven article for a carbon fiber reinforced plastic includes a carbon fiber staple manufactured from scrap generated during manufacture of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic, and allows economic recycling of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic scrap without a reduction in mechanical properties. When molded, productivity is high due to a short cycle time, there is almost no orientation, and an excellent flexural modulus is exhibited.
Method for producing recycled polyethylene with virgin-like optical properties
A method for purifying a contaminated reclaimed polyethylene is provided. The method comprises obtaining the contaminated reclaimed polyethylene, extracting it with a solvent to produce an extracted contaminated reclaimed polyethylene, and then dissolving it in the solvent to produce a first suspension comprising dissolved polyethylene and suspended contaminants. The first suspension is settled to produce a second suspension comprising dissolved polyethylene and suspended remaining contaminants, and the second suspension is purified by contacting it with solid media to produce a third suspension comprising purer polyethylene. Finally, the purer polyethylene is separated from the third suspension and it has virgin-like optical properties.
