PREPREG MANUFACTURING DEVICE AND PREPREG MANUFACTURING METHOD USING SAME
Disclosed are a prepreg manufacturing device and a prepreg manufacturing method using the same. A prepreg manufacturing device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first resin inflow part which is formed inside an upper mold, receives a resin supplied from an extruder, and discharges the resin to a reinforced fiber flowing to a lower part in the upper mold; and a second resin inflow part which is formed inside a lower mold, receives the resin supplied from the extruder, and discharges the resin to the reinforced fiber flowing to an upper part of the lower mold.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HYBRID MANUFACTURING
An apparatus for hybrid manufacturing comprising a frame, a build plate that is adapted to move relative to the frame, a material pump that is adapted to pump one or more materials, a mixing head that is adapted to mix the one or more materials, a mixing hose that is in fluid communication with the material pump and the mixing head, a pump that is adapted to remove air from or introduce air into a mold, a hose that is in fluid communication with the pump and the mold, a vat that is adapted to retain a liquid, and a radiation source that is disposed adjacent to the vat. The apparatus prints the mold and fills the mold. A method comprising printing the mold with material(s), removing air from or introducing air into the mold, filling the mold with one or more primary materials, and dissolving the mold.
Combined injection moulding and extrusion
A method that combines injection molding and extrusion is disclosed. First, a molten material is injected into a mold via an injection gate, the mold comprising a first portion and a second portion. Next, additional molten material is injected via the injection gate and pushed through an extrusion die located in the first portion of the mold and the second portion is separated from the first portion. In embodiments, the second portion is separated from the first portion before the additional material is injected. In other embodiments, the second portion is separated from the first portion simultaneously with the additional material being injected. The method may be used to produce longer and thinner parts with detailed features, such as catheters.
INTERLOCKING REFRACTORY GATING SYSTEM FOR STEEL CASTING
A customizable gating system for metal casting that includes a duct assembly formed from refractory conduit components is disclosed. The gating system is configured to deliver molten metal to a gateway for a mold. The duct assembly is formed from refractory conduit components that can withstand the high temperatures of molten metal and include advantageous features for forming the components, for adjusting the length of conduit components as needed to provide a customized duct assembly, and for interconnecting components to form a duct assembly.
Stopper for a Sprue of a Casting Mould
The invention relates to a stopper for a sprue of a casting mould, said stopper having a through-passage for introducing casting material into the sprue of the casting mould and being designed such that it automatically closes the through-passage to prevent casting material from flowing out of the casting mould, and also to a method for filling a casting mould with casting material, having the steps of: inserting such a stopper into a sprue of a casting mould and introducing casting material into the through-passage.
Lens Casting System
An optical lens casting gasket, wafer, and system and method that provides for more efficient formation of optical lenses employing optically functional wafers.
Injection molding system and method
An injection molding system and method are disclosed. The injection molding system includes a molding device and injector. The molding device defines a mold cavity and includes an inlet portion in communication with the mold cavity. The injector includes a discharging channel. An end portion of the inlet portion and an end portion of the discharging channel have non-planar end surfaces respectively, which are engageable with each other.
Apparatus and method for hybrid manufacturing
An apparatus for hybrid manufacturing comprising a frame, a build plate that is adapted to move relative to the frame, a material pump that is adapted to pump one or more materials, a mixing head that is adapted to mix the one or more materials, a mixing hose that is in fluid communication with the material pump and the mixing head, a vacuum pump that is adapted to remove air from a mold, a vacuum hose that is in fluid communication with the vacuum pump and the mold, a vat that is adapted to retain a liquid, and a radiation source that is disposed adjacent to the vat. The apparatus prints the mold and fills the mold. A method comprising printing the mold with one or more mold materials, removing air from the mold, filling the mold with one or more primary materials, and dissolving the mold.
RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT AND MOLDING DEVICE
A transparent resin molded product and a mold for molding the product are provided in which occurrence of silver streak in the resin molded product is prevented. The resin molded product includes a design portion and a non-design portion, at least a part of the design portion is molded by transparent resin, and a gate trace (a gate arrangement position during the resin molding) is disposed in the non-design portion (runner portion). A foreign matter restraining portion for restraining foreign matters and bubbles contained in the transparent resin is disposed in the vicinity of the gate trace of the non-design portion. The foreign matters and bubbles are restrained by the foreign matter restraining portion and are prevented from flowing to the design portion, and therefore the occurrence of silver streak on the design portion can be prevented.
Seal molding system
A seal molding system may include a mold body having a mold inner geometry formed complementary to a fitting outer geometry of a fitting. The mold body may have a mold base formed complementary to a panel surface. The mold body may include an injection hole for injecting sealant into the mold cavity, and a vent hole for venting air and sealant from the mold cavity.
