Leveler table
A leveler table includes a plate with a flat top work surface that is level in all planes, by locating a circular level recessed within the center of the plate, so that the level indicator of the circular level is in horizontal alignment with the top work surface. By locating the circular level in the middle of the plate, at the same horizontal level as the work surface, this leveler table provides accuracy and repeatability for use of the flat top work surface in manufacturing steps, particularly the forming of parts where repeatability is necessary, such as the in situ forming of an automotive windshield sensor pad in an open ended package supported on the flat top surface.
COMPRESSION TOOL AND METHOD OF FORMING GAS TURBINE ENGINE COMPONENTS
An assembly for forming a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a layup tool including a main body extending along a longitudinal axis and a flange extending radially from the main body, the flange defining an edge face slopes towards the main body to an axial face. At least one compression tool has a tool body having a first tool section and a second tool section extending transversely from the first tool section. The first tool section is translatable along a retention member in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the edge face such that relative movement causes the second tool section to apply a first compressive force on a composite article trapped between the axial face of the flange and the second tool section. A method of forming a gas turbine engine component is also disclosed.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REACTOR
An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a reactor capable of both absorbing a dimensional variation of a core and preventing deformation due to a resin pressure during molding are provided. An apparatus for manufacturing a reactor is provided with a core. The apparatus includes a mold including a cavity for housing the core. The mold includes a plurality of pins protruding into the cavity. When the core is disposed in the cavity, at least one of the plurality of pins is not fixed, and each of the pins functions as a positioning pin. When a molded article is molded, the pin is fixed, and each pin functions as a core support pin for supporting the core against a resin pressure during molding.
Blow molding machine, mold component mounting method and mold unit
A blow molding machine includes a support member that supports a mold component and a moving mechanism that moves the support member to a projecting position toward the outside of the machine and to a storing position. The machine includes a first fixed fulcrum shaft. The support member includes a base end portion rotatably supported by the first fixed fulcrum shaft and a free end portion having a first movable fulcrum shaft. The moving mechanism has rotatably interconnected links. One link is rotatably supported by the movable fulcrum shaft. In the projecting position, the links are maintained linearly by a first angle fixing tool to serve as a leg portion that supports the support member's free end portion.

Composite material molding jig and composite material, molding method
A composite material molding jig for molding a long member made of a fiber base material and a resin on a plate member includes: a first member that is made of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient equivalent to a thermal expansion coefficient of the long member, internally includes a space serving as a mold of the long member, and has an outer surface formed flat in a longitudinal direction; and a second member that is made of a material lighter than the material of the first member, internally includes a space shaped to contain the first member, and has an inner surface formed flat in the longitudinal direction, wherein the fiber base material is placed in the space inside the first member, and the first member is placed in the space inside the second member for molding the long member.
MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING A TURBINE ENGINE FAN CASING FROM A COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A mold for manufacturing a turbomachine fan casing of composite material, includes a mandrel around which a fibrous preform of the fan casing is to be wound; counter-mold angular sectors assembled on the external contour of the mandrel which are intended to close the mold and to compact the fibrous preform wound on the mandrel; wherein each angular sector includes a first lateral flange positioned at the first end of the angular sectors and a second lateral flange positioned at a second end of the angular sectors, the first and second lateral flanges cooperating respectively with the second and first lateral flanges of the adjacent angular sectors. An angular sector includes a first groove formed in the first of second lateral flange, a first seal being positioned in the first groove, the first seal to be compressed between the first and second lateral flanges of two adjacent angular sectors.
FAN, AIR CONDITIONER HAVING FAN, AND MENUFACTURING METHOD OF FAN
A fan comprises a base to be rotated with respect to a rotation axis, an inlet having an opening formed in a center thereof, the inlet spaced apart from the base with respect to a rotation axis direction, and a blade arranged between the base and the inlet. The blade comprises a first surface facing outward with respect to a radial direction of the fan, a second surface facing inward with respect to the radial direction of the fan, and a curved portion protruding from the first surface.
Connection of mould parts
Disclosed is a method, a mould system and a mould part for a mould system, for manufacture of a component for a wind turbine blade. The mould part may have a moulding surface with a primary side section, a secondary side section, and a central portion between the primary side section and the secondary side section. The mould part has a primary connection interface configured to abut a secondary connection interface of a second mould part. The primary connection interface comprises a primary connection surface substantially perpendicular to the moulding surface. The primary connection interface comprising an outlet configured to be connected to a vacuum source.
WAX BASE FOR AN OBJECT IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A method of forming a base for additive manufacture in order to print an object or part object on the wax base involves forming the wax base on a printing tray. The base is constructed by providing a layer of wax on a surface of said printing tray. The wax is heated to above a melting point thereof so that the wax in contact with the tray is molten, and then the wax is slowly cooled while continually pressing on the wax. The slow cooling ensures a bond between the wax and the printing tray which may be enhanced if the tray surface is roughened.
