Method of manufacturing needle-like array sheet
A method of manufacturing a needle-like array sheet includes supplying a first needle-like array-forming solution consisting of an aqueous solution on a first mold having a first recess; interrupting drying in a wet state and forming a needle-like distal end part; supplying a second needle-like array-forming solution consisting of an aqueous solution on a second mold having a second recess; peeling a sheet part molding product, which is dried and solidified and has a protrusion corresponding to the second recess, after the sheet part molding product is formed; inserting the protrusion of the sheet part molding product into the first recess of the first mold; drying and solidifying the needle-like distal end part and the sheet part molding product after inserting the protrusion, bonding the needle-like distal end part and the protrusion of the sheet part molding product together, and forming a needle-like array sheet having the needle-like array.
Device and method for making a variable surface breast implant
Devices and methods are provided for making a variable textured breast implant when used in conjunction with a breast implant mandrel having a molding surface and a stem depending therefrom.
ROLL STAMP FOR IMPRINT DEVICE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a roll stamp and a method of manufacturing the same, the roll stamp including a cylindrical metal mold including a debossed pattern formed on an outer side and a hollow portion formed on an inner side, and a dummy roller inserted into the hollow portion. Because a joining portion is not formed on the entire area of the cylindrical metal mold, a problem in which edge regions are separated does not occur. Also, due to the absence of the joining portion, it is possible to perform a patterning process continuously.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHT ABSORBER
This method for manufacturing a light absorber includes: a first step for irradiating a resin substrate with ion beams; a second step for etching the irradiated resin substrate with an alkaline solution to form an uneven surface on the surface thereof; a third step for forming a transfer body which covers the uneven surface of the etched resin substrate; and a fourth step for peeling off the transfer body from the resin substrate to obtain a light absorber. A metal film, a photocurable resin, and a silicone rubber are disclosed as an example of the transfer body.
Transferring method and repeatable transferring method
The present disclosure provides a transferring method and a repeatable transferring method. The transferring method includes steps of: performing surface modification treatment on a transferring surface of a transfer mold to reduce surface free energy of the transferring surface; forming a liquid material layer on the transferring surface after the surface modification treatment; curing the liquid material layer to form a solid material layer; and releasing the solid material layer from the transfer mold.
Polymer microwedges and methods of manufacturing same
A mold for casting a micro-scale structure includes an upper surface including a first cavity having a first depth. A negative pattern for an array of micro-scale structures is defined in a surface of the first cavity. The mold includes at least one second cavity having a second depth defined in the cavity outside of the negative pattern for the array of micro-scale structures. The at least one second cavity defines a negative pattern for a standoff of the micro-scale structure. A fabric retaining frame is disposed in the first cavity.
JOINED BODY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided is a method of manufacturing a joined body, each of which provides satisfactory molding processability and can achieve both a satisfactory appearance and joining strength at a joining portion. The method of manufacturing a joined body includes injecting a thermoplastic elastomer, after melting of the thermoplastic elastomer, into a mold in which a molded body (I) is placed, to thereby integrate a molded body (II) derived from the thermoplastic elastomer and the molded body (I) with each other, the molded body (I) containing a filler, the filler having an arithmetic average particle diameter of from 1 m to 5 m.
Transmission belt manufacturing method
According to a production method of a power transmission belt, a shaped structure having a cylindrical shape is placed radially inward of belt mold having a cylindrical shape. The shaped structure is provided on a mandrel and has a plurality of ridges arranged adjacent to one another in an axial direction of the shaped structure. The belt mold has a plurality of compression layer-shape grooves arranged adjacent to one another in an axial direction of the belt mold. The shaped structure is crosslinked by heating and pressing the shaped structure toward the mandrel while each of compression layer-forming portions, which are comprised of the plurality of ridges of the shaped structure, is fitted in an associated one of the compression layer-shape grooves of the belt mold, thereby molding a cylindrical belt slab.
Method for producing an elastomeric skin having a grained surface
The present invention relates to a method for producing an elastomeric grained skin which comprises at least an elastomeric skin layer and a coating layer overlying the skin layer. The skin has at least a portion which hasa grained surface, which comprises at least one elastomeric skin layer and which has at least one coating layer overlying the skin layer. To produce the skin a coating composition is applied onto at least a portion of a mould surface, which portion is grained, to produce said coating layer; and the elastomeric skin layer is moulded at least against a back side of said coating layer to produce said portion of the elastomeric skin. In order to accent the grain texture so that it stands out more clearly and so that the visibility thereof is less dependent on the direction of the incident light and the position of the viewer use is made of a coating composition which comprises effect pigment particles contained in a transparent or translucent medium.
Vehicle display device decorative part and vehicle display device
A vehicle display device decorative part and a vehicle display device include a first area provided in the vehicle display device that displays information regarding a vehicle, and having a first pattern formed of a plurality of first grooves, and a second area provided to be included in the first area, and having a second pattern formed of a plurality of second grooves. As a result, the vehicle display device decorative part and the vehicle display device exhibits an effect to realize new and fresh visual effects due to a synergistic effect by a combination of the first pattern formed in the first area and the second pattern formed in the second area included in the first area.
