VAPORIZER HEATING ELEMENT ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A vaporizer heating element assembly has a case structure with a plurality of walls collectively defining a case interior. An upper wall has an access opening, a left wall has a reservoir window, and a lower wall has a vaporization window. A thin plate heating element formed from an electrically conductive material is positioned within the case structure parallel to the lower wall and adjacent the vaporization window. A liquid transport structure is configured for transporting liquid by capillary action from a liquid intake surface to a liquid outflow surface and is disposed within the case interior so that the liquid intake surface is adjacent the reservoir window and the liquid outflow surface is adjacent or in contact with the thin plate heating element. The heating element assembly also has an access closure sized and configured to seal the access opening.

Besides, the housing includes, as the accommodating portion, a first accommodating portion having an elongated shape, and a second accommodating portion having an accommodating part wider than that of the first accommodating portion, wherein a first abutting surface of the housing and a second abutting surface of the lens in the second accommodating portion are formed in a manner that the respective surfaces thereof have an uneven shape. The resin bonding material is in contact with a protruding surface of the housing and a wall portion of the lens.

There is disclosed a hair fastener. The hair fastener is in the form of a loop for securing a log of hair within the loop. The hair fastener has an inner elastic core and an outer fabric enveloping the inner elastic core, wherein the elastic core is made of a band with a width of 2 to 6 mm and a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, and made of silicone or a material of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) selected from the consisting of hydrogenated styrenic block copolymers (SEBS), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). The hair fastener is adapted to assume a first, default, configuration in which an opening defined and surrounded by the loop has a first area and a second, fully expanded, configuration in which the opening defined and surrounded by the loop has a second area.

A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic component for fuel systems or SCR systems includes the following steps: (1) molding and/or forming of a thermoplastic substrate from a first thermoplastic material, and (2) three-dimensional printing of a second thermoplastic material onto a first area of the thermoplastic substrate obtained after step (1). The first thermoplastic material of the thermoplastic substrate and the second thermoplastic material have a chemical compatibility.

A thermoset bulk molding compound useful for making automotive components such as headlamps, as well as other articles of manufacture are described. The composition incorporates moisture absorbing components such as molecular sieves to absorb water present in the compound before molding, thus reducing or eliminating mold defects while retaining the physical properties needed for automotive applications. This results in an as-molded composition with a gloss measured at 60° of greater than 85 GU that can be, without the necessity of a base coat, metallized directly and have reflector quality and durability. The metallized molded components can undergo additional steps such as applying protective sealant layers, as required by the automotive application. The removal of water before molding and the direct metallization reduces the production time of the molded articles.
