DEPOSITION PROCESS OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM MULTI EXTRUDER AND RELATED METHOD
A system for optimizing the multi-extruder deposition process in a 3D printer including multiple extruders requires each extruder to have a body including an outer thermal insulation shell; the shell allowing the inlet/outlet of a fluid for the active and controlled refrigeration of the extruder. A method for optimizing the multi-extruder deposition process in a 3D printer with multiple extruders involves managing the temperature of each extruder using active refrigeration sized so as to have a sudden control of the cooling ramp and to manage the viscosity of the material in the event of extruder change. For the entire duration of the printing with another extruder, the unused extruder nozzle remains in a limited range around the extrusion temperature, thus eliminating downtime, while the solidified filament from the sudden forced cooling is pulled back into a low temperature nozzle area where it does not degrade during non-use.
EXTRUSION EQUIPMENT COMPRISING AN IMPROVED EXTRUSION HEAD
An installation for producing a profiled band based on several mixtures of elastomers of a different composition by means of coextrusion. The installation includes at least two extruders for supplying a mixture of elastomers to an extrusion head. The extrusion head comprises an assembly of at least two plates which are arranged side by side. Each plate having at least one cavity which enables the mixture from an extruder to be chaneled towards an outlet hole. The plates are arranged substantially transversely relative to the output direction of the mixture flows of the extruders in order to produce a discharge at approximately 90 of the mixture flow at the outlet of the screw of each extruder.

The present invention is directed to an apparatus for forming a multi-layer web formed from at least two polymeric film tubes in intimate contact with each other but not bonded to each other. The apparatus includes the use of a blown film extrusion die that extrudes two separate blown film polymeric tubes via two separate annular die lips. A fluid cooling system applies cooling fluid across a plurality of surfaces of the two blown film tubes. One of the die lips may be at a different height from the other die lip. The frost line of one blown film tube may be at a different height from the other blown film tube.

A manufacturing method of a honeycomb structure, including a vertical extrusion process, wherein the vertical extrusion process includes: an extrusion step of extruding the molding compound in the vertically downward direction from an extrusion die attached to an extruder; a honeycomb formed body receiving step in which a transfer pallet is placed at a position near the extrusion die, and a honeycomb formed body formed by continuously extruding the molding compound in the extrusion step is received and supported from below by the transfer pallet; and a pallet lowering step of lowering the transfer pallet while receiving and supporting the honeycomb formed body in synchronization with an extrusion speed of the molding compound from the extrusion die, and the transfer pallet is constituted of a laminate structure including: a pallet substrate; and a tabular mesh plate.
Apparatus and method for forming a polymeric web
The present invention is directed to an apparatus for forming a multi-layer web formed from at least two polymeric film tubes in intimate contact with each other but not bonded to each other. The apparatus and method includes the use of a blown film extrusion die that extrudes two separate blown film polymeric tubes via two separate annular die lips. A fluid cooling system applies cooling fluid across a plurality of surfaces of the two blown film tubes. One of the die lips may be at a different height from the other die lip. A three-dimensional netted structure having an upper surface, a lower surface, two side surfaces a left end surface, and a right end surface, including at least a plurality of filaments helically and randomly entangled and thermally bonded together, wherein the filaments are formed out of a thermoplastic resin by extrusion molding followed by cooling with a liquid; and the netted structure is four-surface molded, the upper surface, the lower surface and the two side surfaces being molded.
