Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment including a foam are provided. The foam portion of the components and articles include a composition which includes a thermoplastic copolyester, the composition having a foam structure. A polymer layer is provided on at least on surface of the foam portion. The polymer layer can control or reduce the water uptake of the foam portion. Methods of making the compositions, foams, and components are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding, or injection molding followed by compression molding.

A method and apparatus for manufacturing a duct bank comprising the steps of loading a frame with a series of templates, positioning the frame adjacent a pipe extruder, aligning a set of a plurality of holes with a die of the pipe extruder, extruding a pipe of a first length into the set of holes, repeating the steps of aligning and extruding for each set of holes, thereby forming the duct bank, banding the duct bank, and removing the duct bank from the frame.

A resin-coated metal sheet according to the invention of the present application that can suppress occurrence of retort blushing (white spots) includes a metal sheet, and a resin layer A coated on at least one side of the metal sheet. The resin layer A contains a polyester resin as a principal component, and the polyester resin is a blend of 30 to 50 wt % of a polyester I having a melting point of 210 C. to 256 C. and 50 to 70 wt % of a polyester II having a melting point of 215 C. to 225 C. The resin layer A has, in X-ray diffraction thereof, a peak intensity ratio satisfying the following formulas (1) and (2): (I.sub.100).sub.II/(I.sub.100).sub.I1.5 (1) and (I.sub.100).sub.II/(I.sub.011).sub.II1.5 (2). The (I.sub.100).sub.II is a maximum peak intensity observed in a range of 2=22.5 to 24.0 in X-ray diffraction of the polyester II, the (I.sub.100).sub.I is a maximum peak intensity observed in a range of 2=25.4 to 26.7 in X-ray diffraction of the polyester I, and the (I.sub.011).sub.II is a maximum peak intensity observed in a range of 2=16.0 to 18.0 in X-ray diffraction of the polyester II.

The continuous phase is formed of a thermoplastic polyolefin. The dispersed phase is formed of a cross-linked elastomeric polyolefin. The thermoplastic vulcanizate composition passes the Hot Creep Test at 150 C. in accordance with UL 2556 (2013) and has a dielectric loss of 3 or less. Methods of forming cables with coverings are also disclosed.
