SEALS FOR AERIAL VEHICLES
Aspects of the disclosure relate to envelopes for aerial vehicle. The aerial vehicle may include an envelope including a plurality of gores. The aerial vehicle may also include a seal arranged between a pair of the plurality of gores, the seal including six layers of envelope material heat-sealed together.
CAGE FOR MEDICAL BALLOON
A cage can be positioned around a medical balloon, such as an angioplasty balloon, to assist in a medical procedure. The cage can include a plurality of strips, each extending between a set of rings including first and second rings. As the balloon expands, the first and second rings move closer together and allow the strips to expand outward. The cage may have wedge dissectors on the strips.
MOLDING METHOD AND MOLDED ARTICLE
The molding method according to the present invention includes a first step of disposing a composite material and a molded member in an overlapped manner between a die having a first mold part and a punch having a second mold part opposing the first mold part, and a second step of pressing the punch in a direction to approach the die so as to mold the composite material and the molded member into shapes corresponding to the first and second mold parts and join the composite material and the molded member to each other. The composite material has a thickness of 0.01 mm or more and 1 mm or less.
Device and method for coating workpieces
A device for coating of workpieces, which preferably includes, at least in sections, wood, wooden materials, plastics, aluminium or the like. The device includes a feed device for feeding a coating material, a pressing device for pressing the coating material onto a surface of the workpiece, a conveyor device for causing a relative motion between the pressing device and the respective workpiece, and a first joining device for applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material fed by the feed device and/or a surface to be coated of the workpiece. The device further includes at least a second joining device for applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material fed by the feed device and/or a surface to be coated of the workpiece.
Laminated film for decorating three-dimensional molded product by vacuum forming, production method thereof, and method for decorating three-dimensional molded product
The present disclosure is to provide a laminated film for decorating a three-dimensional molded product by vacuum forming which has a crack and strain-free uneven design on the clear coating film layer being an outermost layer at the time of use and provide a good design property to a molded product. A laminated film for decorating a three-dimensional molded product by vacuum forming, having a base material film layer (A), a clear coating film layer (B), and a design layer (C), wherein at least one face of the base material film layer (A) bordering the clear coating film layer (B) has an uneven design.
Monobloc tool for the production of molded parts
The present disclosure relates to a monobloc tool for the production of laminated molded parts. The tool includes an effective surface area facing the molded part to be laminated, a usable surface area facing a tool holder for securing the tool 1, at least one fluid duct 4 passing through without kinks and arranged in the interior near the face of the effective surface area, and at least one cavity arranged between the fluid duct and the usable surface area.
Method and apparatus for energy and water efficient labeling
An apparatus and method for the application of labels to packaging employing the application of superheated steam or other fluids in an enclosed space at atmospheric pressure are presented. Such an apparatus and method will more effectively, efficiently and safely attach shrink labeling to consumer packaged goods (CPG) with enhanced time, water and energy savings.
METHOD FOR COATING A SURFACE USING A PROFILED COATING MATERIAL AND A COATING MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a method and a coating material (10) for coating a surface, particularly a narrow side of a plate-shaped workpiece (W), which preferably consists, at least in part, of wood, wood materials, wood substitute materials, plastic or the like, said method comprising the following steps: supplying a coating material (10), wherein the coating material (10) has a recess (10a) extending in a longitudinal direction of the coating material (10), and; applying the coating material (10) to at least one surface (W1) of a workpiece (W) to be coated, wherein the workpiece (W) has, on the at least one surface (W1) to be coated, a profile (P), which is complementary at least in part to the recess (10a).
GUIDEWIRE AND METHOD THEREFOR
In various examples, a method of making a guidewire is described. The method includes placing a polymer jacket over a core wire. The core wire includes a first portion having a first profile and a second portion having a second profile. The first profile is smaller than the second profile. Heat is applied to the polymer jacket and the core wire to reflow the polymer jacket and fuse the polymer jacket to the core wire, wherein the polymer jacket forms a layer of substantially uniform thickness along a length of the core wire. In some examples, a guidewire made using the method is also described.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRESSING A WORKPIECE
An apparatus for pressing a multi-layered skateboard deck having a variation in thickness is provided. The apparatus includes a mold assembly, a first liner, and a second liner. The mold assembly includes a first mold having a first surface and a second mold having a second surface. The first surface and the second surface are configured to collectively define a mold cavity configured to receive the multi-layered skateboard deck. The first liner is disposed adjacent to the first surface and the second liner is disposed adjacent to the second surface. The mold assembly is configured to apply a load when the multi-layered skateboard deck is disposed in the mold cavity. At least one of the first liner or the second liner is configured to deform in response to the applied load such that the multi-layered skateboard deck is compressed with a substantially uniform pressure.
