Method and systems for applying stretch films/plastic films at a controlled temperature and/or transfer of electrostatic charge
A system for controlling the temperature of a film before and/or during application, the system including: a heat source for heating a film; and stretch rollers; wherein the heat source heats the film from an ambient temperature to a temperature from about 2° C. to about 40° C. above the ambient temperature, wherein the film is heated prior to or simultaneous to being stretched by the stretch rollers, and wherein the ambient temperature is below 15° C. A system for improving the application of film by transfer of electrostatic charge is also described. The preheating system and/or electrostatic charge system may be used to enhance binding and sealing properties of stretch films used for wrapping palletized products in a reduced temperature environment. Other embodiments of the preheating film system and electrostatic charge system, and methods for their use, are described herein.
Mold-less curing method of manufacturing a composite vessel assembly
A method of manufacturing a composite vessel assembly includes the step of placing the composite vessel assembly in a pliable containment prior to curing of a resin of the composite vessel assembly. With the composite vessel assembly in the pliable containment, a vacuum is applied through an orifice in the pliable containment to evacuate air and compact the composite vessel assembly.

Method and apparatus for energy and water efficient labeling
An apparatus and method for the application of labels to packaging employing the application of superheated steam or other fluids in an enclosed space at atmospheric pressure are presented. Such an apparatus and method will more effectively, efficiently and safely attach shrink labeling to consumer packaged goods (CPG) with enhanced time, water and energy savings.
PREFORM OF SCREEN PROTECTOR ADHESIVE FOR BUBBLE FREE APPLICATION OF SCREEN PROTECTORS
Systems and methods of applying a screen protector to a surface, including aligning a first mating surface with a second mating surface within a chamber, creating a vacuum within the chamber, inflating an airbag arranged within the chamber, contacting the first mating surface with the airbag, inflating the airbag to extend towards the perimeter of the first mating surface and second mating surface, and removing all air trapped between the first mating surface and the second mating surface.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LAMINATING A LAMINATING FOIL ELEMENT ONTO A COMPONENT, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR APPLYING ADHESIVE, SYSTEM FOR LAMINATING, COMPONENT TO BE LAMINATED WITH A LAMINATING FOIL ELEMENT, AND USE OF A DEPOSIT PART FOR KEEPING READY A LAMINATING FOIL ELEMENT
The invention relates to a device for laminating a laminating foil element onto a component having a profiled lamination plane using a lamination tool, by means of which tool the laminating foil element is laminated onto the component, the lamination tool comprising a first tool half and a second tool half, and the device comprising a deflection arrangement for deflecting portions of the laminating foil element out of the profiled lamination plane.

Partial vacuum forming method by partial overlay of decorative film
An upper opening accommodating chamber and a lower opening upper box are joined vertically together with a decorative film sandwiched therebetween to sealingly form a forming space in which the accommodating spaces and are coupled together, and each of the upper and the lower spaces of the forming space is pressure-controlled to bring, under reduced pressure, the decorative film into close contact with a surface of a part of the adherend accommodated in the forming space. The accommodating chamber includes a recessed receiving jig enclosing a predetermined forming portion of the entire adherend from the inside of the portion to a side periphery, and only the portion surrounded by the receiving jig is partially vacuum formed.
