A rebound garlic peeling apparatus is presented having an elastomeric, rubberlike, spherical member separable into halves. A first hemispherical section is therefore securable to a second hemispherical section to encapsulate a hollow center. An interior layer, disposed bounding the hollow center when each of the first and second hemispherical members are secured together, is forced to contact garlic cloves enclosed therein when the spherical member is accelerated against a proximal surface. Tractive engagement of the interior layer against the garlic cloves effects separation of the garlic tunic and sheath from the cloves whereby the cloves are expediently peeled by bouncing the spherical member previous to culinary preparation. Force of impact is absorbed predominantly into the spherical member whereby any bruising of the cloves is minimized.

A vegetable skin removal system is shown herein, the vegetable having a volume, the system including a top-body, a bottom-body, a desiccant-tray configured to absorb and disperse moisture, the desiccant-tray removably insertable into the bottom-body, at least one hinge-assembly configured to hingedly couple the top-assembly to the bottom-assembly, and at least one fastener configured to secure the top-body to the bottom-body while the lower-mating-surface is mated with the top-mating-surface. The at least on hinge is preferably configured such that the top-body and the bottom-body are removable and/or separable from each other for cleaning and maintenance.

When there are blades present the blades can also slice the fruit or vegetable during the same movement that removes the skin from the fruit and/or vegetable.

A frictional surface is located on the inside surface of the cylinder and in the middle area of the cylinder, and is capable of engaging with produce placed inside the cylinder. A first mounting surface extends from the first end of the cylinder and a first cap is removable and configured to couple with the first mounting surface on the first end. The outside surface of the cylinder is configured to engage with a hand of a user. When the produce is placed inside the cylinder and the user shakes the vessel, the produce engages the frictional surface to remove an outer surface of the produce.
