Methods of manufacturing paint roller covers from a tubular fabric sleeve
A method of manufacturing paint roller covers is disclosed in which the paint roller covers are manufactured from a seamless segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric that is placed onto a cylindrical forming tube having a segment of bonding material temporarily secured on its outer surface under the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric. The cylindrical forming tube is placed on a heated mandrel to apply heat thereto to cause the bonding material to bond to the interior of the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric. The cylindrical forming tube is removed from the mandrel and cooled, and the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric becomes secured to the bonding material to produce a semi-rigid paint roller cover segment. The semi-rigid paint roller cover segment may be finished into paint roller covers by cutting it into appropriately sized segments, combing and shearing the pile fabric to a desired length, beveling the edges of the paint roller covers, and vacuuming stray fibers from the paint roller covers.

Coated tubular support members and methods of manufacturing same
A tubular support member located in a distal portion of an elongate flexible medical device is provided with a plurality of wall openings, e.g., axially-spaced, substantially transverse slots, formed therein to thereby increase a flexibility of the support member. A layer of sealing material overlays an outer surface the support member so as to provide a sealed portion of the support member including the wall openings, the sealing material having respective flexible invaginations formed therein overlaying the wall openings in the support member so that the sealing material does not substantially impede flexibility of the support member.
METHOD OF LINING A PIPELINE WITH A DELAYED CURING RESIN COMPOSITION
A resin composition and method for installing a pipe liner that allows the liner to be fully wet out with a resin and activator and stored for a period of up to six months prior to installation and curing. A method of lining a pipe with a delayed curing resin composition is also provided that includes fully wetting out a liner with a blended two part epoxy composition such that the liner can be transported in a wet out fashion, placed in a pipe to be lined and repositioned as needed without concern for the resin composition to begin curing.

METHOD FOR PREVENTING CORROSION TO AN IRON ALLOY POST
A method for preventing corrosion to an iron alloy post for enclosing an exterior surface of a galvanized fence post with insulation to reduce deterioration due to oxidation includes the steps of coating a fence post with an anti-corrosion solution to prevent corrosion to the fence post due to oxidation. The fence post extends into an insulation sleeve such that the exterior surface of the fence post is completely enclosed within the insulation sleeve. A standing member fastens to the fence post and is positioned adjacent to a bottom end of the fence post. The bottom end and the standing member insert into a ground surface to frictionally anchor the fence post in ground surface.
Method and system for manufacturing hybrid component
The present disclosure relates to a system for manufacturing a hybrid component including a first thermal supplier configured to heat a steel plate, a rolling roll for undercut configured to pressurize the steel plate heated by the first thermal supplier, and to form an undercut on one surface of the steel plate, a first molding roll configured to pressurize the steel plate formed with the undercut to mold the steel plate in a shape of a component to be manufactured, a composite material feeder configured to supply a composite material tape to be seated on one surface of the steel plate formed with the undercut through the first molding roll, and a composite material pressurization roll configured to pressurize the steel plate on which the composite material tape is seated.
Preparation method of PTFE-based membrane for preventing and removing ices covering wind turbine blades and use thereof
A preparation method of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)-based membrane for preventing and removing ices covering wind turbine blades is provided and the method comprises: preparing a membrane into a PTFE rod material with polymerized monomers by using monomer polymerization methods such as blending, pre-compressing and pushing; making the membrane into a PTFE-based homogeneous membrane with micropores and nano and micron scale concave-convex geometrical ultra-structure morphologies under the condition that the membrane is cracked to generate a laminar exfoliated fabric-like structure in the hot calendaring process of the PTFE rod material by using a hot calendaring and fusion polymerization method; and applying the PTFE-based homogeneous membrane to blades of a large wind turbine in operation.
Tile manufacturing process
The invention provides a process of producing an interconnecting multi-layered LVT tile for a modular flooring system, the process comprising the steps of: a) forming a base substrate of plastics material with at least one locating guide by injection moulding; b) coating the back of an LVT surface layer with adhesive; c) aligning the LVT surface layer to a top surface of the base substrate such that the LVT surface layer abuts the or each locating guide of the base substrate; d) press rolling the base substrate and LVT surface layer together to form an oversized blank; and e) punching out an interlock shape from the oversized blank using a punch and die tool.
