20230184277 · 2023-06-15 ·

A connection part having a body portion and a connection surface being arranged on the body portion. The connection surface is configured for being connected to a mating part. Moreover, the connection part has at least one positioning protrusion being located at a distance (d) away from an edge of the connection surface and being movably connected to the body portion. In a pre-assembly position, the positioning protrusion at least partially protrudes with respect to the connection surface. In an assembly position, the positioning protrusion is flush with the connection surface or is retracted with respect to the connection surface. Furthermore, a part connection including such a connection part and a mating part is presented. Additionally, a method for adhesively connecting a connection part and a mating part is explained.

Method of welding a sleeve to a tube, and device obtained thereby

A method of welding a sleeve (10) to a tube (20) includes putting onto end portions (11) of the sleeve (10) respective protective elements (40), of a material that cannot be fused with the materials of the sleeve (10) and of the outer coating (24) of the tube (20); applying on each end portion (11) of the sleeve (10) covered by a protective element (40) a respective heat-shrink element (30); supplying each heat-shrink element (30) with a quantity of heat (Q) which by heating it causes it to shrink and compress the respective end portion (11) of the sleeve (10) against the tube (20), where this quantity of heat (Q) is transmitted to the end portion (11) of the sleeve (10) to obtain a welding of the sleeve (10) to the tube (20) and produce a device (1) comprising the tube (20) with the sleeve (10).

THERMALLY LAMINATED TAB LINER

Liner having an induction heat sealable layer for sealing to a rim of a container, and a pull tab for ease of removal of the liner from the container rim. A folded insert disposed between multilayer upper and lower components, has a heat bondable polyolefin layer that is thermally laminated to polyolefin layers of the upper and lower components, forming a pull tab between the integrated polyolefin layers. The resulting composite resists delamination and can be formed in a single thermal lamination step, avoiding the multiple lamination steps, associated high equipment costs, and complex layer constructions of the prior art.

INFLATABLE PRODUCT AND INFLATABLE PRODUCT FUSING PROCESS
20170238718 · 2017-08-24 ·

Provided are an inflatable product and an inflatable product fusing process. The inflatable product comprises an upper sheet, a lower sheet, pull straps provided therebetween, and upper and lower fixing sheets having one faces away from each other respectively joined with inner surfaces of the upper and lower sheets and one faces facing towards each other not joined. The pull strap has oppositely-provided upper and lower pull strap sheets of porous material. The upper sheet, upper pull strap sheet, upper fixing sheet, lower fixing sheet, lower pull strap sheet and lower sheet are successively provided. When processing using a hot-fusing machine or high-frequency machine, the upper and lower pull strap sheets are simultaneously jointed with the upper and lower fixing sheets, therefore the inflatable product can be one-step formed and no separating sheet needs to be provided in the pull strap, thus simplifying manufacturing process and improving production efficiency.

Inflatable bladders for use in footwear and other articles of manufacture

The present invention is a method for manufacturing inflatable bladders for use in articles of manufacture. The method includes the steps of providing a first polymer film, applying a curable release coating to the polymer film in a pattern that corresponds to the configuration of the inflatable bladder, curing the release coating to the first polymer film, providing a second polymer film with the first polymer film to form a layered element such that the release coating is disposed between the polymer films, positioning the layered element between two plies of material, applying heat and pressure to adhere the polymer films together except in the area where the release coating has been applied to form an inflatable compartment surrounded by a sealed perimeter, and removing the plies of material from the adhered first and second polymer films.

Pipe-liner eversion system and method
09724873 · 2017-08-08 ·

A pipe-liner system for use when lining a pipe interior features a pipe having a pipe opening end and a pipe interior wall. The system features a flexible, substantially-impermeable, elongate extender-tube and an evertable, flexible, elongate, tubular pipe-liner. The system features a substantially leak-proof pressure retaining closure-sleeve located on a pipe-liner second end. An extender-tube second end is attached to a pipe-liner first end via a substantially leak-proof connection there between. The combined extender-tube and the pipe-liner form a single continuous evertable tube, hereinafter referred to as an extended liner having the pressure retaining closure-sleeve enclosing an extended liner distal end. A length of the extender-tube and a length of the pipe-liner are each chosen so that the liner is caused to be accurately positioned within the pipe upon eversion.

AN ADHESIVE ASSEMBLY METHOD AND AN ADHESIVE ASSEMBLY OBTAINED BY THE METHOD

A method of adhesively bonding a first substrate on a second substrate in an adhesive bonding zone by an adhesive joint integrating a support mesh, wherein surplus adhesive joint is folded over onto one or the other of the first or second substrates so that the support mesh is present over the entire adhesively bonded zone after curing.

PIPE-LINER EVERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
20170326784 · 2017-11-16 ·

A pipe-liner system for lining a pipe and methods of use thereof. A continuous, eversible extended liner is formed from a pipe-liner attached to an extender-tube via a substantially leak-proof connection there between. Lengths of the extender-tube and the pipe-liner are each chosen so that the pipe-liner is caused to be accurately positioned within the pipe upon everting the extended liner into the pipe by a pressurized fluid. The pipe-liner is held against an interior surface of the pipe being lined by inserting an inflatable bladder into the extended liner and filling the bladder with pressurized fluid. When a resin in the pipe-liner has hardened, the bladder is removed and the extender-tube is detached from the pipe-liner.

Masked fabrication inflatable devices

A multi-layer bladder includes: a first bladder layer; a mask including a plurality of apertures; a second bladder layer bonded to the first bladder layer within the apertures in the mask and where the mask is not present between the first and second bladder layers, where the mask is configured to prevent bonding of the second bladder layer to the first bladder layer where the mask is present; and a fluid channel that is located between the first and second bladder layers and that extends to the mask from an outer edge of the multi-layer bladder.
