Internal tire repair device and method
A device and method for storing tire repair material in or around the wheel barrel of a tire. Also, a device and a method for repairing a compromised tire using tire repair material stored in or around the wheel barrel of a tire. In some embodiments, the means for storing the tire repair material in or around the wheel barrel may comprise non-interconnected bays. Device embodiments may also comprise a tire repair material applying means (for example, means utilizing some form of propulsion and/or spraying). Thus, in some embodiments, the tire repair material may be applied to a compromised section of the inside surface of the tire, originating from the direction of the wheel barrel. In some embodiments, the device may also comprise a means for detecting a compromised tire and the punctured section thereof, as well as a means for signaling commencement of application of the tire repair material.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire having sufficient sealing performance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the sealant layer being formed by applying a sealant to the inner periphery of a tire from which mold release agents have been removed.
Rolling Assembly
Adapter for a rolling assembly comprising a tire, and a rim having two rim seats and two rim flanges. The adapter has an axially inner end mounted on the rim seat and comprises an inner reinforcing element, an axially outer end that comprises an outer reinforcing element, a body that connects the two ends to form a single piece. A substantially cylindrical adapter seat is configured to receive a bead, and is situated at the axially outer end of the body. An adapter bearing face is substantially contained in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis, and situated on the axially inner face of the axially outer end. The reinforcing element of the axially outer end is entirely situated axially outside the bearing face. The body comprises, opposite the adapter seat, an annular seat reinforcer. The inner wall of the tire is covered by a layer of a self-sealing composition.
Agent for Provisionally Sealing Inflatable or Pressurizable Objects and Method for Provisionally Sealing Inflatable or Pressurizable Objects
The invention relates to an agent for provisionally sealing inflatable or pressurizable objects, in particular pneumatic vehicle tyres, containing at least one rubber latex and at least a first antifreeze. The invention also relates to a method for provisionally sealing inflatable or pressurizable objects, in particular pneumatic vehicle tyres. The agent has a total solids content of rubber latex and adhesive resin of 3 to 30% by weight and the antifreeze is/are selected from the group consisting of 1,2-propane diol and 1,3-propane diol and 1,2-butane diol and 1,3-butane diol and glycerin and triethylene glycol and 0 to 9% by weight ethylene glycol.
CAP UNIT FOR PUNCTURE REPAIR
A cap unit for puncture repair comprises a check valve 6 for preventing a backflow of a puncture repair liquid supplied from a bottle container 2. The check valve 6 is disposed in a first flow path 3 used for taking compressed air from a compressor 8 into a bottle container 2. The check valve is formed by a ball valve 21 disposed in a valve housing zone Y which is located in a vertical passage part 15 of the first flow path 3 and between an upper opening 3U and a valve seat portion 20. The ball valve 21 is formed by a rubber-like elastic body having a specific gravity of 1.1 or more, and a rebound resilience of 15% or less.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire in which a sealing layer can be provided at a desired position on an inner circumferential surface of the tire is provided. The pneumatic tire (10) includes a tire frame member (12) formed in a circular shape and made of a resin, and a sealing layer provided by fixing a sealant housing member (34) internally filled with a sealant (38) to an inner circumferential surface of the tire frame member (12).
Emulsion coagulant, and flat tire repair kit using same
An object of the present invention is to provide a novel emulsion coagulant having excellent coagulability used in a tire puncture sealing agent, and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same. The present invention is an emulsion coagulant comprising magnesium oxide and a silane coupling agent and a cellulose and/or magnesium hydroxide, wherein a mass ratio of the magnesium oxide to the silane coupling agent is from 100:0.5 to 100:15; and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same.
METHOD FOR REPAIRING COMPOSITE COMPONENTS USING A PLUG
A method for repairing composite components includes installing a plug within a feature defined by a composite component, with the plug being formed from one or more neutral materials. Furthermore, the method includes infiltrating the composite component with an infiltrant to densify a repair region of the composite component, with the plug blocking a flow of the infiltrant into the feature. Moreover, after infiltrating the composite component, the method includes removing the plug from the feature.
PNEUMATIC VALVE ADAPTOR
A pneumatic valve adaptor includes a fast-releasable gas source connector, which includes a top source piece and a rotatable joint, the and at least one valve coupler. The top source piece is connected to a top end of the rotatable joint for receiving and feeding gas supplied from a gas source into the rotatable joint. The rotatable joint has a lower edge in which at least one first engagement section is formed. The valve coupler is provided, at a lateral external surface and a lower end, with at least a second engagement section and a valve connection section. The second engagement section is engageable with or disengage able from the first engagement section through rotation of the rotatable joint. The valve connection section is connectable to a pneumatic valve of an inflatable object for supplying and feeding the gas from the gas source into the inflatable object for inflation.
Puncture repair kit container
Provided is a puncture repair kit container that includes a container body including a holding portion that holds puncture repair liquid and an opening portion provided in one end of the holding portion, a cap mounted on the opening portion, a hose connected to a connecting portion provided in the cap, and an engaging portion that is provided in an outer surface of the cap and that engages the hose in an unused state by causing the hose to extend along a periphery of the cap.
