Tire puncture sealing agent and tire puncture repair kit
The present invention provides a tire puncture sealing agent having excellent storage performance, and a tire puncture repair kit. The tire puncture sealing agent of the present invention contains: a rubber latex and/or a resin emulsion; a predetermined glycol ether; and a non-ionic surfactant having an HLB value from 15 to 20.
METHOD FOR APPLYING SEALING AGENT TO AN INNER SURFACE OF A PNEUMATIC TIRE
A method is for applying sealing agent to an inner surface of a pneumatic tire. The method includes using a first extrusion device to form at least a part of a first throughput having base elastomer, using a second extrusion device to form at least a part of a second throughput having a curing agent, and mixing the first throughput with the second throughput to form the sealing agent. In addition, a layer of the sealing agent is applied to the inner surface of the pneumatic tire by a dispensing head.
Method and device for sealing and inflating inflatable articles, and sealing agent
A method for sealing and inflating inflatable articles, in particular for sealing and inflating motor vehicle tires, wherein, by means of a compressor which is driven preferably by means of an electric motor, a sealing and pumping pressure is generated, wherein, by means of the sealing and pumping pressure, via a valve and distributor device for sealant and compressed gas and via compressed-air and sealant hoses between valve and distributor device and an entry valve or an inlet nozzle of the inflatable article, a sealant situated in a sealant vessel connected to the valve and distributor device is conveyed into the inflatable article and, at the same time, the inflatable article is inflated to a predefined operating pressure, wherein, by configuration of the corresponding parameters, of the sealant and of the device, in or downstream of the entry valve/the inlet nozzle, the sealant is at least partially atomized to form an aerosol by virtue of the sealant or the sealant-air mixture being converted, in the entry valve or in the inlet nozzle, into a turbulent flow with a Reynolds number R.sub.e≥2300.
Compressor assembly comprising a beaded cylindrical cam
The invention relates to a compressor assembly for supplying pressure medium to a tire cavity of a vehicle wheel that can be mounted on a wheel hub which can be mounted on a wheel carrier so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation. The compressor assembly includes a wheel mount-side transmission component or the hub-side transmission component, which includes a cylindrical cam.
Tire maintenance means
A tire maintenance means (1) is provided, which includes a monitoring module (2) for monitoring the status of a tire; an inflating module (4) for inflating or deflating the tire; a repairing module (5) for filling a sealant to the tire; a control module (3) for maintaining the tire based on a signal from the monitoring module (2). A method of maintaining a tire is also provided.
Thermally stable tire sealant
A tire sealant composition for use in tubeless tires is disclosed. The tire sealant composition primarily serves to seal the tire around the wheel rim and particularly in the tread area of the tire against punctures. The composition includes polymeric material, carrier fluid and particulate system. The tire sealant composition is flowable, non-toxic, non-corrosive and thermally stable.
High performing low viscosity tire sealant
A high performing low viscosity tire sealant includes about 15% to about 75% by weight of a biobased aliphatic diol, about 5% to about 50% by weight natural rubber latex, and about 2% to about 50% by weight synthetic rubber latex. The tire sealant exhibits excellent performance at temperatures of −40 degrees Celsius and lower.
CATALYST FOR EXTENDED WORK TIME FILLER COMPOSITION
A free radical cure catalyst composition is provided that includes a free radical cure catalyst present as a paste at 20° C. A cure inhibitor is dissolved in a solvent compatible with the free radical cure catalyst paste to form an inhibitor solution that is mixed into the paste. A filler composition is also provided that includes an ethylenically unsaturated resin, a crosslinking agent; and the free radical cure catalyst composition. A method of repairing a vehicle body is provided that includes an uncured layer of the composition as noted above is applied to a substrate. The uncured layer is modified during a working time of from 8 to 35 minutes. The uncured layer is allowed to cure under free radical conditions to form a cured layer.
Sensing sealant liquid container and inflatable article repair kit comprising the same
A sensing sealant liquid container for repairing an inflatable article, preferably a tyre, comprises a first portion produced by injection moulding and a second portion produced by injection moulding, the first and the second portion being connected to each other to delimit a volume inside which a sealant liquid is retained, an outlet tube for the sealant liquid when the container is pressurized and a sensor for verifying the functional connection of the tube to the inflatable article, and at least one track electrically connected to the sensor and co-moulded on one of the first and the second portion, the track defining a contact releasable electrical connection.
Puncture repair fluid container and puncture repair kit
A puncture repair fluid container includes: a container body including a storage portion for storing a puncture repair fluid and an opening portion provided at one end of the storage portion; and a cap mounted to the opening portion. The cap includes an introduction path for introducing compressed air from outside; a discharge path for discharging the puncture repair fluid to the outside; a switching valve for switching two paths disposed between the introduction path and the discharge path; and a switching knob for operating the switching valve. A jig for rotating the switching knob is provided, the switching knob is provided with a recessed portion or protruding portion, and the jig is configured to be attachable and detachable to the switching knob, the jig being provided with a protruding portion or recessed portion that is fitted in or to the recessed portion or protruding portion of the switching knob.
