An apparatus for treating containers with a first treatment device configured to treat the containers in a predetermined first manner, with a transport device which transports the containers in a predetermined transport direction, wherein the transport device transports the containers in a transport stream extending in the transport direction, and with a reject device arranged after the first treatment device, which is configured to reject a plurality of containers arranged one after the other in the transport direction from the transport stream, wherein the apparatus has a second treatment device which is arranged before the first treatment device in the transport direction of the containers. The apparatus has a gap generating device which is arranged in front of the first treatment device in the transport direction of the containers and which generates at least one gap in the transport stream of the containers.

A method for preparing a likeness of a deceased human or animal, incorporating said human or animal's cremains in the likeness, prepared on a surface, is disclosed. The method allows for a surface to be prepared with at least one layer of adhesive, to which the cremains are attached to create a substantially surface, which is used to prepare the likeness.
DIRECT PRINTING ONTO EXTRUDED PVC SLATS
Described is a process and system for direct printing of a decorative pattern onto an extruded PVC slat. The process includes providing a hot extruded PVC slat; directly contacting a surface of the hot extruded PVC slat with a direct printing cylinder as the slat is moved in a downstream direction, where the cylinder has a pattern with a cell structure that receives ink and rotates to directly apply the ink in the form of the pattern onto the surface of the hot extruded PVC slat. The process also includes controlling a temperature of the direct printing cylinder to inhibit drying of the ink while present on the direct printing cylinder.
Device for printing containers and method for inspecting containers in a printing device
An apparatus for printing on containers includes a transporter transports containers that are to be printed upon along a transport track to a container inlet of a printing station. An inspector inspects containers upstream of where transfer of the containers to the container inlet occurs. The inspector includes a light and camera that face each other. The light illuminates a first side of a container and the camera views an opposed second side thereof. Illumination of the first side scatters light from the container, thereby rendering its material distribution visible to the camera. The camera collects data that represents this distribution as different brightness values or gray scale values. A controller uses this data to identify a defective container, the defective container having brightness values or gray scale values that differ from standard values thereof.

A resin molded article is equipped with a resin base material layer, a cover layer, and a design layer. The design layer is provided on a design side end surface of the resin base material layer, whereas the cover layer is provided on a cover side end surface which is a rear surface of the design side end surface. Further, the cover layer includes a first end surface facing toward the cover side end surface, and a second end surface which is a rear surface of the first end surface. The first end surface is covered by a first coating layer, and the second end surface is covered by a second coating layer.
PLASTIC FUSION SYSTEM
A system for fusing plastic materials without bonding agents, such as adhesives, etc., is disclosed. A heat press is used to apply heat and pressure to plastic material sandwiched between heat resistant material. A flatbed heat press, a rotary heat press, or other similar type of thermal roller system may be used. Heat is applied to at least one side of the sandwich and may be applied to both sides of the sandwich simultaneously with equal pressure for a given amount of time. Dual thermostats may be used for application of different beat levels on opposite sides of the sandwich. Reinforcement materials, such as mesh or reinforcement fibers, may be integrated within the layers of plastic prior to fusion to enhance the integrity and/or aesthetic qualities of the fused end product. The plastic may be subjected to multiple applications of heat and pressure to optimize the fusion process.

A method of forming aligned patterns on a mat contains steps of: (1). providing a main die configured to mold a body on a substrate; (2). forming multiple patterns on the body so as to produce a decoration portion; (3). forming a toothed cutting line on the body by ways of the alignment mark line so as to form multiple connection units on which multiple patterns are formed respectively, thus producing the mat; and (4). aligning the multiple patterns on the mat so as to provide or design the decoration portion on the multiple patterns, wherein the mat is disassembled to multiple coupling parts, and the multiple coupling parts of the mat are connected with another mat, thus producing an expandable mat.

Provided is a device for treating containers, comprising a heating device for heating plastic preforms, wherein the heating device has a plurality of heating stations which are suitable for individually heating the plastic preforms, and wherein the heating device has a transport device which transports the plastic preforms individually through the heating device, and comprising a reshaping device which is suitable and intended for reshaping the plastic preforms heated by the heating device into plastic containers. This reshaping device is arranged downstream of the heating device in the transport direction of the plastic preforms, and the reshaping device has a movable support, on which a plurality of reshaping stations are arranged for reshaping the plastic preforms into the plastic containers. The device also comprises a transport device, for transporting the heated plastic preforms individually from the heating device to the reshaping device, and a decorating device.
