METHOD FOR INSTALLING SLIDE FASTENER ASSEMBLY IN THIN SHELL GARMENT
A method of installing a slide fastener assembly in a thin shell garment includes: providing a slide fastener chain comprised of two interlocked rows of teeth, each row of teeth being attached to a cord bundle of a respective slide fastener tape; removing the interlocked rows of teeth from a portion of the slide fastener chain, thereby defining a length of the slide fastener chain without teeth; introducing a reinforcing film to the cord bundles, at a location along the length of the slide fastener chain without teeth, to shape the cord bundles for accommodation of a pin and box assembly; cutting the slide fastener chain at a film-reinforced location along the length of the slide fastener chain without teeth, thereby defining a semi-finished slide fastener assembly terminating in a film-reinforced end; and attaching the semi-finished slide fastener assembly to one or more panels of a thin shell garment. After attachment of the semi-finished slide fastener assembly to the one or more panels of the thin shell garment, the pin and box assembly is installed at the film-reinforced end of the semi-finished slide fastener assembly.

Method for manufacturing waterproof zipper
A method for manufacturing waterproof zipper is completed in following steps. Firstly, a release paper is provided, a release side of which is provided with the shape, such as glossy surface, matte surface, figures, patterns, trademarks and characters, required by client. Afterwards, a liquid hot melt glue is applied to the release side, and a heating procedure is performed on the liquid hot melt glue. Subsequently, a zipper is provided, and a hot rolling procedure is performed on the zipper, release paper and liquid hot melt glue, one side of a zipper tape without zipper teeth being bound to the liquid hot melt glue and release paper by hot rolling, the liquid hot melt glue being formed as a waterproof layer. Finally, the release paper is peeled off, so as to form the shape on a surface of waterproof layer contacted with the release side, and complete the waterproof zipper.

Method for manufacturing slide fastener chain
A waterproof fastener chain includes: a pair of fastener tapes made of polyester resin adjacent to each other at a given space between each side edge thereof, rows of elements respectively attached onto a main surface of the side edge of each of the fastener tapes, and waterproof coated films made of polyester resin respectively formed on a main surface of each of the fastener tapes. An outer surface of each of the waterproof coated films is flat at least at a position where a slider is to pass over, each of the waterproof coated films penetrates into irregularities on the main surface of each of the fastener tapes, a penetration depth of the waterproof coated films into a gap caused by the space of the pair of fastener tapes is not more than thickness of the fastener tapes.
