The processing circuit is configured to receive the identifying data from the sensor, identify a type of the food product based on the identifying data, and automatically set a predefined operating parameter of at least one of the processing mechanism and the thermal element to provide target processing of the food product based on the type and the identifying characteristics.

An apparatus for selectively heating or cooling a food product includes a housing including a shell and a thermally-conductive liner coupled to the shell. The shell defines a housing cavity, and the thermally-conductive liner defines a receptacle. The apparatus also includes a removable tray and a plurality of thermoelectric heating/cooling devices disposed within the housing cavity. The removable tray is sized and shaped to be received within the receptacle such that the removable tray is coupled in thermal communication with the thermally-conductive liner. Each of the thermoelectric heating/cooling devices is selectively operable in a heating mode and a cooling mode and is coupled in thermal communication with the thermally-conductive liner such that the liner draws heat away from the removable tray when the thermoelectric devices are operated in the cooling mode, and the liner transfers heat to the removable tray when the thermoelectric devices are operated in the heating mode.

The electric cooker includes a main body having an accommodation space therein to receive an inner pot, a lid coupled to the upper portion of the main body to be opened and closed, a pressure conversion part for selecting a high-pressure mode and a non-pressure mode by opening and closing a plurality of discharge paths configured to pass through and to block the gap between the inside of the inner pot and the outside of the lid, a sensor for sensing the high-pressure mode or the non-pressure mode selected by the pressure conversion part, and a controller for determining the pressure mode based on the sensing signal from the sensor among the pressure modes at least including the high-pressure mode and the non-pressure mode.
Cooking aid with a floatable, hermetically sealed body
An electronic device and a system are to be provided in order to allow, at any time, monitoring of a cooking state (as a system state) of a product cooked preferably in a liquid. This is achieved by means of a hermetically sealed body with an electronic arrangement accommodated in the body. The arrangement comprises an electronic assembly (10) with a model-forming arithmetic unit (11) and a temperature sensor (20) adapted and arranged to measure an ambient temperature of the body. In addition, an electric power source (30) and a radio interface (50) with an antenna (52) are provided, the model-forming arithmetic unit simulating a model of a cooking behavior of a foodstuff to be cooked. Information on the current cooking state of the foodstuff is transmitted from the transmission unit (52) to a receiver (a smart device) spaced apart from the hermetically sealed body.

A food processing apparatus and method reduces a sugar content of a food product. The food processing apparatus includes a food processing compartment including a blade arrangement, a base including a motor to drive the blade arrangement, a heating arrangement for heating the food product in the food processing compartment, and a controller to control the motor and the heating arrangement. The controller, in a fermentation mode of operation of the food processing apparatus, operates the motor to grind the food product with the blade arrangement. The controller further operates the heating arrangement to heat the ground food product to a temperature in a range of 30-40° C. The controller further terminates the mode of operation after a period of time indicative of the completion of the mode of operation.
