METHOD FOR INSTALLING A MOUNTING FOR AN ELECTRONIC TIRE MODULE
A method is provided for installing a mounting against a wall of a tire. The mounting is formed of an elastomeric material and holds an electronic module. The method includes steps of: providing a mould that includes a mould cavity, placing an unvulcanized mounting in the mould cavity, and vulcanizing the unvulcanized mounting simultaneously with vulcanizing other components of the tire.
AIR VALVE COMBINING TYPED POLYURETHANE FOAM EJECTION DEVICE FOR TIRE
An embodiment of the present invention provides an air injection valve-integrated spray for spraying and applying polyurethane foam to a desired portion of a tire. The spray includes a polyurethane foam chamber disposed at an end of a coupling portion and keeping polyurethane foam under pressure and an air delivery chamber delivering air injected from an air injection valve to a breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber, in which the breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber is broken by air coming out of the air delivery chamber, so the polyurethane foam is sprayed.
Tire structure for externally mounted device
A method of mounting an object on a tire includes providing a tire having a sidewall, wherein the sidewall includes a mounting portion configured to receive an object. The method further includes mounting the object on the mounting portion of the sidewall, such that the object is visible without extending outwardly beyond the mounting portion.
Pneumatic Tire, Manufacturing Device for Pneumatic Tire, and Method of Manufacturing Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire that rotates about a center axis includes a tread rubber that comprises a contact patch; a groove provided in the tread rubber, the groove having an inner surface that includes a bottom surface and side surfaces that connect the bottom surface to the contact patch; and a coating film disposed covering at least a portion of the inner surface, the coating film reducing exposure of ultraviolet light to the inner surface.
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT OF A FLEXIBLE WHEEL FOR WHEELBARROW OR MANUALLY TRACTIONED INDUSTRIAL CARTS
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT OF A FLEXIBLE WHEEL FOR WHEELBARROW OR MANUALLY TRACTIONED INDUSTRIAL CARTS is constituted by a single block that comprehends three parts: the outer ring(1), the center wall(2), and the inner ring(3); and the outer ring(1) has on its extremity a tread surface(15), and as tangents on each side it has side tread surfaces(12); and each side tread surface(12) has a plurality of radial cavities(11) spaced along the wheel; and the radial cavities(11) of a side tread surface(12) are not aligned in relation to the radial cavities(11a) of the opposite side tread surface(12a); and the center wall(2) is a flat, solid, ring-shaped wall contained in the central plane which contains the body of the wheel, and on each side of the flat wall there are a plurality of flexible structures(14) radially aligned to the radial cavities(11) contained in the outer ring(1); and the inner ring(3) is constituted of a circular wall(31), a reinforcement rim(32), and mass reducers(33); and the mass reducers(33) are recesses with radial walls.
Tire and mold comprising a fluidic passage
The tire (10B) comprises a tread (12) including a running layer (14) which is intended to come into contact with the ground when the tire (10B) rolls on the ground, and a sublayer (16) located radially inwards from the running layer (14). The tread (12) comprises at least one fluid passage (22) between the sublayer (16) and the air surrounding the tire (10B). The sublayer (16) comprises a cellular material. The fluid passage (22) comprises an element chosen from a groove (20) and a cut (26), formed in the running layer (14) and extended by at least one well (28) acting as a radial extension of the element, formed between the groove (20) and/or the cut (26) and the sublayer (16). Each well (28) forms a localized part of the fluid passage (22).
DEVICE FOR MEASURING AN OPERATING VARIABLE OF A TYRE
The invention relates to a device for measuring an operating variable, to be fitted onto a tyre, comprising: an electronic circuit distributed over a first face of an electronic board and comprising a sensor; a protective housing at least partially covering the electronic circuit; and at least one first antenna wire having one end galvanically connected to the electronic circuit and integrally extending so as to project laterally from the housing;
According to the invention, the housing comprises a lateral portion which projects substantially tangentially to a proximal end portion of the first wire in accordance with the generatrix of said first wire.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes two plate-like members which have a plurality of through holes formed therein, and are adhered to each other by adhesion portions at least at two positions spaced apart from each other, and a supporting member which is inserted between the two plate-like members between the adhesion portions being adjacent to each other, wherein a part of an outer surface of one of the two plate-like members is attached to an inner surface of a tread portion so that a space is formed between the outer surface of the one of the two plate-like members that are adhered and the inner surface of the tread portion.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a plate-like member in which a plurality of through holes and slits having both ends positioned within a plate surface are formed, and a supporting member which is inserted into the slits and supports plate-like portions in both sides of the slits in opposite directions to each other, wherein the plate-like member is attached to an inner surface of the tread portion by mounting portions which are respectively positioned closer to an outer side than both ends of the slits, so that a space is formed between the plate-like member and the inner surface of the tread portion.
Spray Formation of an Impermeable Barrier Layer on a Tire
A method is provided for forming an impermeable barrier layer on an inner tire surface of a tire. An assembly is also provided along with a kit for forming an impermeable barrier layer on an inner tire surface of a tire accordingly.
