INFUSION BEVERAGE APPARATUS
A cool coffee infusing apparatus is disclosed having a liquid container, a ground coffee container, and an enclosure. The enclosure includes a pump, controls therefore, and receptacles for the containers. The liquid container is filled with cool water and the ground coffee container is filled with ground coffee. The pump circulates the water through the grounds until a desired level of infusion is achieved and coffee beverage is created. The coffee beverage is collected in the liquids container for pouring or for storage for later use.
High Pressure, Low Temperature, Continuous Flow Extraction System
High pressure, low temperature, continuous flow extraction systems and methods are designed to produce fluid consumables, including water-based consumables such as coffee or tea. The extraction systems and methods are designed to be safer, more efficient, and more scalable than other known and conventional extraction techniques, and to have significantly quicker extraction times and higher yields.
Method and apparatus for improving the consistency of espresso shots
An espresso brewing system to dynamically control the flow rate of water during pre-infusion and extraction to improvement shot consistency. Simple user controls create a programmatic “brewing environment” which allows shots to be very repeatable and shared, allowing shots to be reproduced on other machines with this system.
Apparatus and method for controlling the taste of coffee, and a coffee maker comprising the apparatus
An apparatus for controlling the taste of coffee, a method of controlling the taste of coffee and a coffee maker including the apparatus. The apparatus includes a control unit, configured to determine a target pH value of water corresponding to a desired coffee taste, and a corresponding adjustment control signal; and a pH adjustment unit, configured to adjust, in response to the adjustment control signal applied to the pH adjustment unit, the pH value of water to be fed into a brewing unit of a coffee maker to the target pH value. In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, the pH value of water to be fed to a brewing unit of a coffee maker may be adjusted for a desired coffee taste.
COFFEE EXTRACTION APPARATUS
A coffee extraction apparatus includes: a grinder grinding whole beans into coffee powder having a preset size or less and discharging the coffee powder, a grinder inlet defined at a first side of the grinder to introduce the whole beans to the grinder, a grinder outlet defined at a second side of the grinder and discharging the coffee powder, and a first extractor. The first extractor includes: a receiver inlet that faces the grinder and that receives the discharged coffee powder, a filter part receiving the coffee powder through the receiver inlet and extracting coffee liquid by rotating the coffee powder with water of a first temperature, the first temperature being equal to or lower than 25 degrees Celsius, and a receiver that receives the water of the first temperature and that is configured to store the water of the first temperature or the extracted coffee liquid.
BEVERAGE INFUSING SYSTEMS
A beverage infuser assembly includes a fluid vessel including a top end and a bottom end. A longitudinal axis is defined between the top end and the bottom end. The beverage infuser assembly includes a base assembly to the bottom end of the fluid vessel. The beverage infuser device includes a vibration source positioned within the base. The vibration source is configured and adapted to transmit ultrasonic waves into the fluid vessel to accelerate the infusion process. A method for infusing a beverage with one or more ingredient includes actuating a vibration source positioned within a base of a beverage infuser. The method includes transmitting ultrasonic waves generated by the vibration source into a fluid vessel of the beverage infuser to accelerate infusion of one or more ingredient within the fluid vessel into a fluid within the fluid vessel.
Microencapsulated delivery system
A microencapsulated delivery system, composition or method is disclosed in which one or more agents to be delivered are encapsulated in small capsules (e.g., microcapsules), and the capsules are applied or adhered to one or more surfaces of a substrate. The encapsulated agent is latently released upon exposure to appropriate conditions.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING A BEVERAGE
An apparatus (1) for preparing a beverage is described, comprising: at least one infusion assembly (2a, 2b); a hydraulic circuit (3) connecting the infusion assembly or assemblies (2a, 2b) to an external water-supply system (100) and comprising a first and a second fluidic path (31) to connect said infusion assembly (2a, 2b) alternatively to said external supply system (100) or a pump.
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE DISPENSING TEMPERATURE OF A CAFFEINATED HOT BEVERAGE AND AUTOMATIC BEVERAGE MAKER FOR PREPARING A CAFFEINATED HOT BEVERAGE HAVING A SPECIFIED DISPENSING TEMPERATURE
A method, and apparatus for implementing the method, for adjusting a dispensing temperature of a hot beverage by an automatic beverage maker The temperature of the hot beverage and/or the water supplied to a brewing unit for producing the hot beverage is measured. The measured temperature is compared with a desired value and the temperature of the hot beverage is adjusted to the desired value by cooling. The hot beverage or the water supplied to the brewing unit for producing the hot beverage is cooled directly via a machine-controlled addition of cold water. The temperature is adapted to the desired value by an amount of cold water supplied by the machine-controlled addition of cold water. The temperature is adapted by a controllable metering valve that meters the amount of added cold water.
Coffee dispenser
The coffee dispenser disclosed herein may serve a single serving of coffee. The coffee dispenser may including a coffee concentrate fluid line which intersects with a water fluid line at a junction to allow mixing of coffee concentrate with water as the respective fluids flow through the coffee dispenser.
