Capsule-based food preparation system
A food preparation system includes a food preparation machine with a receptacle for a food capsule and a fluid injecting member, and the food capsule including a capsule body, a cavity, a first end, an opening communicating with the cavity, a second end including at least one outlet communicating with the cavity, an injection wall, and at least one partition dividing the cavity into chambers containing a respective quantity of an alimentary substance and having at least one outlet with an independently-operable closure member in the second end. The injection means injects a quantity of fluid into the capsule through a single injection point, and a sealing member selectively blocks fluid communication between the chambers, resisting a pressure difference between the chambers of between 2 and 20 bar, preferably between 4 and 15 bar.
AN OPEN EXTRACT BEVERAGE DISPENSER AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME
An open extract beverage dispenser and method for using the same. A storage device produces and stores liquid with nanobubbles, an extraction device is installed with an extraction part where a solid to be extracted is placed and a liquid storage part that accommodates the extraction part, and the storage device and extraction device are connected by a connection and circulation device. The extraction part and the liquid storage device are connected by a first conveyor in the connection and circulation device, which channels the liquid with nanobubbles to the extraction pant for mixing with the solid to be extracted; the extraction part and the liquid storage part are connected by a second conveyor in the connection and circulation device, which re-channels the liquid in the liquid storage part to the extraction part for re-mixing with the solid to be extracted.
Coffee dispenser
The coffee dispenser disclosed herein may serve a single serving of coffee. The coffee dispenser may have a mixing chamber that combines one or more liquid concentrates and heated water, and dispenses a single serving of coffee. The coffee dispenser may have a forth control to select the forth level of the serving of coffee dispensed. The liquid concentrate may be a coffee extract.
FILTER CONTAINER, FILTER ASSEMBLY, AND EXTRACTION DEVICE
A filter container includes a main part and a filter piece, the main part includes a surrounding portion, an opening, and a coupling portion, the opening and the coupling portion are respectively located at two opposite sides of the surrounding portion, the filter piece is arranged at the coupling portion.
Device and Method for Brewing Beverages in Reduced Time by Means of Physical Motion
A device to brew beverages or otherwise extract compounds from solids into a liquid solvent, and to decrease the time necessary to accomplish such brewing or extraction, using physical motion. A method to decrease the time necessary to brew a beverage or extract compounds from solids into a liquid solvent without the necessity of adding thermal energy.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING LIQUID EXTRACTS
The present disclosure is generally related to systems and methods for producing liquid extracts from a solid raw material, as well as related equipment. Certain aspects are related to the production of multiple liquid extract products using a single system by adjusting one or more displaceable fluidic pathway segments within the system to switch between first and second (or more) extraction configurations. In certain embodiments, a first liquid extract can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment is in a first configuration, and a second liquid extract (different from the first liquid extract) can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment in in a second configuration (different from the first configuration).
EXTRACTION CELL
An upward flow extraction method, apparatus, and extract are disclosed. The upward flow extraction method can comprise loading extraction material into an extraction cell having a bottom portion and a top portion; introducing a first aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell; expelling gas from the extraction cell through the top portion of the extraction cell; closing the top portion of the extraction cell and increasing the pressure in the extraction cell as extraction medium flows into the bottom portion of the extraction cell; stopping the flow of extraction medium into the extraction cell; steeping the extraction material in the extraction medium under pressure to produce an extract; and introducing a second aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell to push extract through top portion of the extraction cell.
COFFEE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A coffee processing apparatus (100, 200, 300) is disclosed that comprises at least one of a grinding stage (110) for grinding coffee beans (10) into ground coffee beans (20); and a brewing stage (140) for brewing coffee from ground coffee beans; the coffee processing apparatus further comprising a sensor (150) arranged to sense a total concentration of volatile organic compounds released by said coffee beans or ground coffee beans; and a controller (160) responsive to said sensor and arranged to control said grinding stage and/or said brewing stage as a function of said total concentration. Methods of controlling such a coffee processing apparatus are also disclosed.
GENERATION OF SUPERHEATED STEAM FOR THE PREPARATION OF A BEVERAGE
Assemblies, machines, systems, and methods for the generation of superheated are discussed A steam super-heat assembly is employed for generating superheated steam for the preparation of coffee-based beverages. The assembly includes a body that includes an internal cavity, a heating element that includes heating surfaces positioned within the internal cavity, and a flow path within the internal cavity. The body also includes an input that enables fluid access into the internal cavity and an output that enables fluid egress out of the internal cavity. The heating element heats the heating surfaces of the heating element. The flow path enables fluid to flow from the input, through the internal cavity of the body, and to the output of the body. The heating surfaces form a portion of the flow path. When the fluid flows through the internal cavity, the fluid is in direct physical contact with the heating surfaces.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BEVERAGE BREWING MANAGEMENT
A method and a system are disclosed for managing a brewing process in which a solution is produced by mixing a solvent with a solute and a beverage is extracted from the solution. The system includes a temperature sensor device for sensing a temperature change per unit time of the solvent to create temperature information; a first measurement device for sensing a weight increase per unit time of the beverage to create first weight information while counting the time elapsed in the brewing process to create timing information; and a computing device comparing preset standard-state information with the temperature, first weight and timing information. A warning message is displayed on the computing device to remind a brewing operator to stop brewing the beverage when any of the temperature, first weight and timing information created at a specific unit time does not match the standard-state information of the same unit time.
