A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A BEVERAGE
A method for producing a beverage, for example cold-brewed tea or cold-brewed coffee, comprises exposing flavour materials (23), for example tea leaves or ground coffee beans, to hot water or steam to steep the flavour materials (23), circulating a mixture of the steeped flavour materials (23) and cold water in a brewing chamber (16), and dispensing the mixture through a filter device (18) to provide the beverage.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COFFEE BEVERAGE IN A COFFEE MACHINE
A method for producing a coffee beverage in a coffee machine including: a brewing device having a brewing chamber that receives ground coffee and includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet; a fluid system having a fluid feed line connected to the inlet and a fluid conveyor conveying a heated fluid through the feed line. The method includes: (a) introducing ground coffee into the chamber, (b) conveying heated fluid through the feed line into the chamber for brewing the ground coffee in the chamber and dispensing the beverage through the fluid outlet. Before step (a), heated fluid is fed through the feed line into the chamber and at least a part of this heated fluid is dispensed through a drainage outlet separate from the fluid outlet and fluidly communicating with the chamber and/or the feed line, to preheat the feed line and the brewing device before beverage preparation.
Automatic machine to deliver beverages
An automatic machine to deliver a beverage containing caffeine includes a water container, a possible pump, a filtering element to contain, during use, a powdered mixture, a main pipe that connects the container to the filtering element, and a heating element, associated with the container and/or with the main pipe, able to be selectively activated to heat the stream of water delivered from the container toward the filtering element in order to infuse the powdered mixture.
COFFEE DISPENSER
The coffee dispenser disclosed herein may serve a single serving of coffee. The coffee dispenser may including a coffee concentrate fluid line which intersects with a water fluid line at a junction to allow mixing of coffee concentrate with water as the respective fluids flow through the coffee dispenser.
Cold Brew Tea Method of Producing Kombucha
The present invention relates to a method for producing beverages, more particularly, the present invention relates to a method for producing a kombucha tea drink from the Camellia sinesis plant. Traditionally, kombucha tea is prepared through a practiced fermentation method that consists of the fermentation of black tea, dissolved in sugar, in a symbiotic culture of yeast and bacteria (Scoby). Considering the immense antioxidants and benefits of kombucha, it is crucial to not reduce any of these properties through preparation with hot water that could destroy key benefits. In this regard, embodiments of the present invention comprise a method of making a tea-based fermented drink, comprising steps of preparing the tea leaves picked from a plant source; preparing the water with temperature not greater than 80 degrees Fahrenheit (F); adjusting the water temperature to 40 degrees F. or less for a brewing temperature range of 33-40 degrees F.; adding the water to a vessel; preparing a brew tea concentrate using tea bags or loose tea at a brewing temperature range of 33-40 degrees F.; adding the tea concentrate to the water available in the vessel; mixing the mixture of tea concentrate and water; adjusting the temperature of the mixture to 33-40 degrees F.; adjusting the temperature of a cold storage to 33-40 degrees F.; and cold brewing the mixture by placing the mixture in the cold storage for at least 2 hours up to 5 days
BREWING MACHINE
A brewing machine includes a liquid source, a dispensing outlet, and a motion device for moving the dispensing outlet according to at least one brewing pattern. The motion device includes a first transmission mechanism and a second transmission mechanism, the first transmission mechanism moves the second transmission mechanism to allow the second transmission mechanism to have a first motion trajectory, the second transmission mechanism moves the dispensing outlet to allow the dispensing outlet to have a second motion trajectory, and the first motion trajectory and the second motion trajectory have a substantially same shape.
KITS FOR COMBINING CONSUMABLES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A kit includes a mixing vessel having a filling opening configured to allow the mixing vessel to be filled therethrough; and a plurality of indicia disposed on the mixing vessel, wherein the plurality of indicia are positioned and spaced so as to define a plurality of parts of the mixing vessel therebetween, and wherein the plurality of indicia are sequentially labeled with dimensionless labels; and a recipe including an identification of a plurality of ingredients and sequential filling instructions for adding the plurality of ingredients of the recipe to the mixing vessel in a sequential manner, wherein each sequential filling instruction has a corresponding one of the plurality of ingredients, and wherein each sequential filling instruction indicates a labeled indicia on the mixing vessel corresponding to a fill level of contents of the mixing vessel following addition of the corresponding one of the plurality of ingredients.
AUTOMATIC COFFEEMAKER PROCESS FOR PREPARING A COLD BREWED BEVERAGE
A method of preparing a brewed beverage using a beverage brewing apparatus includes providing a flavorant, identifying a process cycle including one or more infusion cycles for preparing the brewed beverage, performing said one or more infusion cycles, wherein said performing of said one or more infusion cycles includes providing fluid to said flavorant, and varying a temperature of said fluid provided to said flavorant during a single infusion cycle of said one or more infusion cycles, or between a plurality of infusion cycles of said one or more infusion cycles.
Apparatus and method for cold brewing beverages
An apparatus and a method for cold brewing beverages are provided. The apparatus comprises a container and at least one insert arranged in the container. The insert may either be a filter for holding brewing material or a receptacle for holding cooling material. A liquid like water filled in the container is pumped through a conduit into the insert and is then returned to the container, from where it may be pumped again to the insert. Thus a cycle for brewing and cooling a beverage is provided, depending on whether the insert is a filter for holding brewing material or a receptacle for holding cooling material, thereby considerably reducing the time required to produce a cold-brewed beverage.
