COMPOSITE MATERIAL, EXTRUDATE AND EXTRUSION PROCESS
A composite material for producing an extrudate may include: PVC and granules of cereal chaff. The granules of cereal chaff may include spelt, hulls, granules, seed coats and/or stem parts. The cereal may be Pooideae and/or Panicoideae and/or Andropogonoide-ae.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CELLULOSE PRODUCT BY A PRESSURE MOULDING APPARATUS, PRESSURE MOULDING APPARATUS AND CELLULOSE PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cellulose product having a flat or non-flat product shape by a pressure moulding apparatus comprising a forming mould. The forming mould has a forming surface defining said product shape, The method comprises the steps of:
arranging a cellulose blank containing less than 45 weight percent water in said forming mould; heating said cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing said cellulose blank by means of said forming mould with a forming pressure acting on the cellulose blank across said forming surface, said forming pressure being in the range of 1 MPa to 100 MPa.
TRANSMISSION WELDING METHOD, TRANSMISSION WELDING DEVICE AND TRANSMISSION WELDING ARRANGEMENT
To achieve universal welding of thermoplastic workpiece parts with simple equipment, an infrared light transmission welding method is disclosed in which simple polychromatic, incoherent infrared light is generated by a simple infrared light source and is directed through a first workpiece part to a weld point for the purposes of connection to a second workpiece part. In particular, the infrared light is directed through a transparent bracing element.

WHEAT PLASTIC CLOTHES HANGER
A method of manufacturing a clothes hanger is disclosed. The method includes adding ingredients into an injection machine. The ingredients made up of a wheat Fiber, a polypropylene, a polyethylene wax and a Talc Powder. The method heats and mixes the ingredients to melt the ingredients forming a composite mixture. The composite material is extruded into a mold, forming the hanger base. The hanger base is extracted from the injection machine and a hanger hook is inserted into the hanger neck.
Low heat build-up capstock system and extrusion technology for solid and foamed profiles in dark colors
A weatherable, low heat build-up capstock system comprising an acrylic cap, a pigment system that is IR transparent to a greater degree than existing pigment systems, an IR reflective substrate, and an extrusion system for same.
COMPOSITE EXTRUSION WITH NON-ALIGNED FIBER ORIENTATION
Embodiments herein include compositions, extruded articles, and methods of making the same. In an embodiment, an extruded article is included. The extruded article can include an extruded segment comprising a first composition. The first composition can include a polymer resin, particles and fibers. The fibers can be disposed within the first composition exhibiting a substantially non-aligned directional orientation. In an embodiment, an extruded article is included having a first portion comprising a first composition having a first fiber orientation and a second portion comprising a second composition having a second fiber orientation. The first composition can include a polymer resin and fibers. The second composition can include a polymer resin, particles and fibers. The fibers of the second composition can be oriented more randomly than the fibers of the first composition. Other embodiments are also included herein.
ABRASION AND DAMAGE RESISTANT FLEXIBLE HOSE
Disclosed herein are abrasion resistant flexible hoses and methods for manufacturing such hose. The abrasion resistant elastomeric hose comprises an inner surface and an outer surface, and a abrasion resistant material embedded in the hose at a depth that imparts a three-dimensional pattern at the outer surface of the hose.
FIBER PRETREATMENT FOR IMPROVED NATURAL FIBER - POLYMER COMPOSITE FEEDSTOCK PRODUCTION
Provided are methods for preparing modified natural fiber composite feedstocks. In some embodiments, the presently disclosed methods include hydrolyzing agricultural fiber material, optionally soybean hulls, under conditions and for a time sufficient to remove some or all of the arabinose from the agricultural fiber material to produce an arabinose-deficient hydrolyzed product; hydrolyzing the arabinose-deficient hydrolyzed product under conditions and for a time sufficient to remove some or all of the xylose from the arabinose-deficient hydrolyzed product to produce a hydrolyzed fiber material; and combining a thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) with up to 35 wt. % by weight of the hydrolyzed material, whereby a modified fiber composite feed stock is prepared. Also provided are methods for isolating xylose removed from arabinose-deficient hydrolysates, modified fiber composites prepared by the presently disclosed methods, method for 3D printing structure using the modified fiber composites, methods for improving at least one characteristic of modified TPC composites, and methods for improving fused filament fabrication (FEE) processes.
Method for manufacturing a cellulose product, cellulose product forming apparatus and cellulose product
A method for manufacturing a cellulose product, comprising the steps: dry forming a cellulose blank in a dry forming unit; arranging the cellulose blank in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing the cellulose blank in the forming mould with a forming pressure of at least 1 MPa.
