The present invention relates to a method and device for manufacturing artificial marble. According to the present invention, artificial marble having a stripe pattern similar to that of natural stone, such as striato, may be provided.

An expansion joint seal includes a seal body and a plurality of seal caps, wherein the seal body is made of a material having a first hardness, and the seal caps are made of a material having a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness. The seal body includes a plurality of traffic bearing surfaces that are separated from one another by grooves and are thereby discontinuous relative to one another. The hollow cells and the grooves allow the seal body to expand and contract as an expansion joint increases and decreases in size due to thermal and/or load variations. A process for producing a polyurethane or polyisocyanurate construction board, the process comprising of providing an A-side reactant stream that includes an isocyanate-containing compound; providing a B-side reactant stream that includes a polyol, where the B-side reactant steam includes a blowing agent mixture including isopentane and a blowing agent additive that has a Hansen Solubility Parameter (δ.sub.t) that is greater than 15 MPa.sup.0.5; and mixing the A-side reactant stream with the B-side reactant stream to produce a reaction mixture.

A decorative concrete with a very uniform finish surface and a method of fabricating the same is disclosed. A concrete mixture is poured over a subgrade which defines an exposed surface. The exposed surface is finished with any of several techniques, and the surface is then worked with an abrasive material, and additional techniques are used to color and seal the concrete.
