Electric press and method for calibrating the same
Disclosed herein are an electric press and a method for calibrating the electric press, which can implement a rapid calibration operation. An electric press (10) includes a ram location information storage unit (63) and a load control unit (64). The ram location information storage unit (63) stores ram location information, corresponding to actual load values and representing locations to which a ram is moved, in advance. The load control unit (64) applies an actual load, corresponding to at least one location which belongs to the locations represented by the ram location information and to which the ram is moved, to a compression target by moving the ram to the location. Accordingly, the load value output by the detection unit is calibrated based on the actual load value applied to the compression target.
PRESS MACHINE AND PRESS MACHINE EXECUTION SYSTEM
A press machine is provided. Two vertical hydraulic cylinders are arranged on an upper beam plate of a press machine body, and the two hydraulic cylinders correspond to workbenches at corresponding positions in a one-to-one correspondence, constituting left and right working units, and a common mechanical drive unit and a common hydraulic drive unit are set for the left and right working units. The mechanical driving unit is composed of a driving motor through an electromagnetic clutch, an electromagnetic brake and lead screw nut driving mechanism driven by a gear pair. According to the load profiles during the working process of hydraulic press machine, the mechanical driving unit or the hydraulic driving unit are selected to provide energy for the two working units. A control method for the press machine, a press machine execution system and a control method for the press machine execution system are further involved.

In a press machine vertically moving a ram by turning a threaded member, the ram has a bearing holder that holds a bearing whose outer ring is solidly engaged with the bearing holder and whose inner ring is solidly fitted to a lower end part of the threaded member. A fine clearance is formed between a lower face of the threaded member and a bottom face of the bearing holder so that the threaded member and bearing holder are allowed to rotate relative to each other. The fine clearance is set so that, when load is applied to the ram to cause a relative slight movement in a vertical direction between the inner and outer rings of the bearing, the lower face of the threaded member and the bottom face of the bearing holder come into contact with each other.

The second motor system produces a high-speed linear movement condition to the press ram. The belt system couples the actuator sprocket, the first motor sprocket, and the second motor sprocket. The clutch allows the first motor to partially or fully disengage from rotational movement of the first sprocket when the belt is being driven by the second motor.
