Hydraulic jack for hand tool repair
A hydraulic powered press for hand tool repair is mounted to a wall and powered by an electric motor. A plurality of adjustable holders is secured about the side frame of the jack.
Method and apparatus for processing of fecal waste
A method of treating fecal waste according to an example of the present disclosure includes bringing a reactor containing fecal matter to a first temperature and a first pressure, exposing the reactor to an environment with a second temperature and a second pressure such that the water in the fecal waste undergoes flash evaporation, and pyrolizing the fecal waste. A fecal waste processing unit is also disclosed.

Hydraulic system
The invention relates to a hydraulic drive (1) comprising a working cylinder (2) and a travel cylinder (3) which is mechanically connected to the working cylinder (2). The working cylinder (2) and the travel cylinder (3) each comprise an upper and a lower cylinder chamber (21, 22, 31, 32), and all four cylinder chambers (21, 22, 31, 32) of the working and travel cylinder (2, 3) are connected to one another in a suitable manner in a closed pressure circuit (4) which is filled and prestressed with a hydraulic fluid (F). A rotational speed-variable hydraulic machine (5) with a first and second pressure connection (51, 52) is arranged in the pressure circuit (4) in order to conduct the hydraulic fluid (F) between the individual cylinder chambers (21, 22, 31, 32) of the working and travel cylinder (2, 3) during the operation (B) of the hydraulic drive (1). At least one first and second distributing valve (6, 7) are arranged in the pressure circuit (4) such that the respective valve switch positions (61, 62, 71, 72, 73) which are suitable for the different operating phases of the hydraulic drive (1) together with the suitably driven hydraulic machine (5) allow a common movement of the work and travel cylinder (2, 3) in one or the other piston movement direction (R1, R2). For this purpose, preferably only the first and the second distributing valve (6, 7) are arranged in the pressure circuit (4). The hydraulic drive (1) requires a minimum number of components, maintains a low installation complexity, improves the energy efficiency, can be constructed in a compact manner, and can be operated in a sufficiently variable manner.
Metal scrap compressor
A metal scrap compressor obviates cut scraps accumulation potentially causing malfunction of a press cylinder device. In a metal scrap compressor, a press cylinder device includes: a pair of wall-like side blocks disposed between a cylinder flange at an end of a cylinder tube and a base on a base stand so as to form a frame structure; and a cup-shaped block member removably mounted on the base as disposed between these side blocks and containing therein a pressure forming chamber. The block member includes a charging opening for metal scraps, allows a press ram replaceably mounted to a distal end of a piston rod of the press cylinder device to be reciprocally slidably inserted therein through a ceiling thereof, and includes therein a press forming die replaceably mounted to a distal end of the press ram and reciprocally moved in the pressure forming chamber.

Pressurized heat-press apparatuses and associated methods
Apparatuses for pressing and heating a material and associated methods are disclosed herein. An apparatus of the present technology includes a housing, a pressure component positioned in the housing, a linkage component coupled to the pressure component, a first heating component coupled to the linkage component, and a second heating component positioned adjacent to the first heating component. The linkage component is movable between a first position and a second position. When the linkage component is at the first position, the linkage component is positioned at a first level. When the linkage component is at the second position, the linkage component is positioned at a second level and the linkage component holds the first heating component stationary relative to the second heating component.

METHOD OF OPERATING A MANUAL PRESS WITH A SAFETY POWER ASSIST
A safety power assist for a manual press is provided. In another aspect, a press includes a tool, a manual actuator, a switch and an automatically powered actuator. A further aspect of the present press employs a spring which must be compressed beyond a predetermined pinching force before a switch is activated, where switch activation causes an automatically powered actuator to advance a workpiece-contacting punch or tool.
Method and device for compacting materials
A method and system for compacting waste materials in a collection container. The container can be a freestanding waste container, a self-contained compaction container, or a container on a waste collection vehicle. A hydraulically operated compactor blade is positioned in the upper portion of the container with its bottom edge a distance above the floor. A door member can be provided in the rear wall of the collection container. The compactor blade can be in its rest position relative to the top opening. The container member can be positioned or located on a trailer or truck-type vehicle and adapted to be tilted for evacuation of materials collected therein.
