Methods for manufacturing capsules with ingestible event markers
Various methods and apparatuses are presented for an ingestible capsule that includes a digital, ingestible sensor componentor ingestible sensorembedded into the capsule. The ingestible sensor component may be configured to activate upon coming into contact with conductive fluid, such as a body's stomach fluid. Once activated, the ingestible sensor component may be configured to perform various tasks, such as transmitting one or more signals and obtaining biometric data about the body that ingested the capsule.

A photon cold gel includes a cold gel body, wherein a non-woven fabric is arranged at the top of the cold gel body. A plurality of medicine storing cavities is formed under the cold gel body. Medicine bags are separately and fixedly arranged in each of the medicine storing cavities. The present invention pertains to a method of producing a compressed nicotine tablet comprising nicotine. The method comprising the steps of adding a first powdered portion of tablet base material into a punch die, pressing said first tablet base material by means of an upper and a lower punch to obtain a first pressed material, inserting an object at the upper face of the first pressed material and fixing the object in a central cavity of the first pressed material, adding a second powdered portion of tablet base material into the punch die, and pressing said first and second tablet base material around the object to enclose the object from the surface of the tablet. The object is based on a material different from the first and/or the second powdered portion of tablet base material.

The invention relates to a method for producing pharmaceutical tablets, in which method pressed tablet articles are formed and given a coating, wherein the pressed tablet articles are, before they are given a coating, stored in an intermediate storage area (10) for a product-specific hardening period and are then automatically removed from the intermediate storage area (10) for further processing, wherein a system control unit (17), in which the product-specific hardening periods can be or are stored, detects the time at which the pressed tablet articles are placed into the intermediate storage area (10) and once the product-specific hardening period has come to an end, initiates the automatic removal of the pressed tablet articles. The invention further relates to a system for producing pharmaceutical tablets, having at least one tablet press (2) and at least one coater (14), which is arranged downstream of the tablet press (2) and which gives the pressed tablet articles formed in the tablet press (2) a coating, wherein the system has containers (8), which are configured to receive the pressed tablet articles ejected from the tablet press (2), the system comprises an intermediate storage area (10) having at least two storage spaces (11), the system has a handling system (9) that brings the containers (8) to the intermediate storage area (10) and removes them therefrom, and the system comprises a system control unit that controls the handling system (9), wherein in the system control unit (17), product-specific hardening periods can be or are stored and the system control unit (17) detects the content of a container (8), the storage space (11) assigned to a container (8) in the intermediate storage area (10), and the start of the hardening period and, once the hardening period has come to an end, actuates the handling system (9) to remove the corresponding container (8) from the intermediate storage area (10) and to transport it for further processing.

A vertically-adjustable safety cam is designed to be vertically adjustable in relation to the upper pressure roller.
