The first controller controls the linear positions of the linear actuators to retract the nesting blocks from an initial position to accommodate placement of the one of the plurality of workpieces in a stack on the nesting blocks. The linear actuators are controlled to retract the nesting blocks to fully retracted positions to place the plurality of workpieces in the stack onto the exit rails when a quantity of the plurality of workpieces in the stack is equal to a desired quantity.

A stamping press for stamping a round blank. A ram movable in a stroke direction and in an opposite return stroke direction carries a first stamping tool. A second stamping tool and a stamping ring are supported on a press framework. The stamping tools and a stamping opening formed by the stamping ring are aligned along a working axis. An ejector device serves to eject a stamped round blank from the ring opening. It comprises an ejector pin supported on an actuating device that is movably coupled with the ram. During a return stroke of the ram the ejector pin can apply a force on the second stamping tool in order to press the round blank out of the stamping ring. In a ram movement in the stroke direction the actuating device departs from the second stamping tool and no ejector pin force is applied on the second stamping tool.

Provided is a method and device for batched compression molding of rubber and plastic products by means of multiple mold cavities, including alternating operation of a blank shuttle and a male mold that is in a bottle cap mold, being controlled by means of engagement of two partial gear sets. Mold opening motion, isostatic pressing energy storage, and spring energy storage are implemented by means of the engagement characteristic of the partial gear sets, and mold closing and compression molding are implemented by means of the non-engagement characteristic, isostatic pressing energy storage, and pressurization of the partial gear sets. The method and device effectively resolve the general problem of low production efficiency and poor precision and stability of existing compression molding cap manufacturing equipment.

The discharge element is an actively drivable, endless discharge belt for discharging the residues in a discharge direction. A corresponding method is also provided.

The phase adjustment unit changes a relative phase of the transfer motion relative to the pressing motion when the operating curved surface is present within the interference region.

A pressure equalization channel configured to open into one of the first and second discharge channels and is configured to equalize a pressure between the inlet channel and at least one of the first and second discharge channels.
