DEVICES AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING DOUBLE WALL RECYCLABLE CUPS
Disclosed herein is a press device for coupling two cups respectively made of a first and a second materials and are stacked together to form a double wall cup after pressing. The press device comprises an upper mold and a lower mold; in its structure, the upper mold includes a first hollow cylinder and a second hollow cylinder that can move vertically inside the first hollow cylinder; and the lower mold comprises a third hollow cylinder for accommodating and holding the two cups and a push rod centrally disposed within the third hollow cylinder for pushing up the two cups. The press device does not include any alignment structure for positioning the two cups. Also encompassed in the present disclosure is a method for coupling the two cups by utilizing the present press device, and the coupling method does not include any step of rotating or positioning the two cups.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CELLULOSE PRODUCT BY A PRESSURE MOLDING APPARATUS, PRESSURE MOULDING APPARATUS AND CELLULOSE
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cellulose product having a flat or non-flat product shape by a pressure moulding apparatus comprising a forming mould. The forming mould has a forming surface defining said product shape, The method comprises the steps of:
arranging a cellulose blank containing less than 45 weight percent water in said forming mould; heating said cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100 C. to 200 C.; and pressing said cellulose blank by means of said forming mould with a forming pressure acting on the cellulose blank across said forming surface, said forming pressure being in the range of 1 MPa to 100 MPa.

Paper sheet fitting method and paper molded article
A method for fitting a paper sheet includes a water absorption step of causing a region of the paper sheet to absorb water, the region being at least a part of the paper sheet; a placing step of placing the region of the paper sheet between one set of first molding surfaces of a press mold; a molding step of molding the region of the paper sheet into a three-dimensional shape, by closing the press mold; a layering step of layering another paper sheet that is not caused to absorb water on the molded paper sheet, after opening the press mold; a fitting step of fitting the molded paper sheet and the another paper sheet by closing the press mold to mold a laminate into a three-dimensional shape; and a removal step of removing a molded article including a fitting portion, after opening the press mold.
Paper-based cooking container providing improved product browning
A paper-based cooking container providing improved product browning is disclosed, wherein the container includes a base, a sidewall and, optionally, a rim, and wherein a portion of the base has been modified through densification of the paper-based material. The container preferably includes both densified and undensified paper-based material.
Tool for forming a three dimensional container or construct
A tool having a blank positioning system and method for forming a container. The tool has a first tool assembly and a second tool assembly that cooperate to shape the container from a blank. The blank positioning system positions the blank between the first tool assembly and the second tool assembly prior to forming the blank into the container.
Process for forming an insulated container having artwork
A container is formed to include and interior region and a mouth opening into the interior region. The container includes a floor, a side wall coupled to the floor to define the interior region between the floor and the side wall, and artwork on the side wall.
METHOD FOR MAKING A PACKAGE IN SHEET MATERIAL
Described herein is a method for making a package (300) comprising at least one sheet (100) of packaging material including at least one layer of paper, which is shaped so as to present a hollow portion (102) surrounded by a perimetral portion (104). The hollow portion (102) of the shaped sheet (100) a ratio between depth and width higher than 0.39, preferably between 1:1.8 and 1:2.5.

Mill-style blow molding wheel mechanism and method of manufacturing using the same
In one embodiment, an apparatus and a method of manufacturing a paperboard tray therewith is provided. In particular, a hub is configured to rotate about a shaft. On the hub, a plurality of first molds are formed in the hub. Conversely, a plurality of second molds are each disposed above each of the plurality of first molds respectively and rotate above the first molds. In this configuration, the plurality of second molds are configured to move in unison with the plurality of first molds as the hub and second molds rotate and to move orthogonally towards and then away from the first molds as the second molds rotate.
