SELF-EXPANDABLE INSULATING BOX LINER
A self-expandable insulating box liner includes a first insulating panel assembly, a second insulating panel assembly, and a plurality of layers of an oxygen barrier film. Each of the first and second insulating panel assemblies includes an insulating panel portion sealed between two layers of the oxygen barrier film. Each of the insulating panel portions has a first, pre-compressed thickness. The insulating panel portions are compressed to a second, compressed thickness smaller than the first, pre-compressed thickness prior to being sealed between the two layers of the oxygen barrier film. When compressed and sealed, the insulating panel portions retain the second, compressed thickness. The insulating panel portions are movable from the second, compressed thickness to the first, pre-compressed thickness when one of the two layers of oxygen barrier film is punctured.
Process for making a container of a given shape from sheet material
Process for obtaining a container of a given shape starting from sheet material, by providing a sheet; providing a mould having a forming cavity, which defines a reference axis (R) and has a shape corresponding to the given shape of the container; positioning the sheet over forming cavity; providing a forming device having forming structure arranged on a side of the sheet opposite the forming cavity, and operating the structure for inserting the sheet into the forming cavity to deform it until a container blank is obtained having a shape approximating the given shape; and blowing a gas under pressure into the forming cavity to deform the container blank until the container with the given shape is obtained.
Three-dimensional molded part made of fiber-containing material and molding tool for the production of molded parts made of fiber-containing material
A three-dimensional molded part made of fiber-containing material and a molding tool for producing molded parts made of fiber-containing material are described. The three-dimensional molded part is produced in a manufacturing process under pressure and thermal influence. A surface of the molded part has at least one design element and/or functional element that is formed by at least one region with reduced material thickness. The material thickness of the at least one region decreases with an increasing molded part height in a molding direction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WEB-FED DRY FORMING OF FIBER-BASED PRODUCTS
Disclosed are methods and systems for production of fiber-based, plastic-free products are produced by a web-fed dry forming process. In some embodiments, a method of manufacturing a paper-based packaging product includes conditioning a paper web to optimize a moisture content of the paper web and to treat the paper web with at least one additive to form a conditioned paper web; and dry molding the conditioned paper web under one or both of heat and pressure to produce a plurality of finished paper-based packaging products. The at least one additive includes a stearate additive.

Container, Method of Making a Container, and Apparatus for Manufacturing a Container
An apparatus for manufacturing a bottle having a paperboard outer shell and an inner pouch, a side wall of the shell formed from a blank having a main body panel for forming a cylindrical main body portion and a plurality of neck panels for forming a cylindrical neck portion. The cylindrical main body portion has a first diameter, and the cylindrical neck portion has a smaller diameter. The apparatus comprises means for forming a limit feature on an inner surface of the side wall element at a distance from an end of the side wall element, and a base insertion assembly for positioning a base element of the shell with respect to the end of the side wall and inserting the base element into an opening defined by the end of the side wall until an edge region of the base element contacts the limit feature.
Methods and systems for producing pressware
A system for forming a pressware product from a web of a roll of material includes a positive mold, a negative mold, a heating element, an actuator, a force sensor, and a control system. The positive mold forms a top surface of the pressware product. The negative mold forms a bottom surface of the pressware product. The heating element is coupled to the positive mold or the negative mold. The actuator shifts the positive mold or the negative mold to cut and form the pressware product in a single stroke. The force sensor detects the forming force applied by the actuator, and the control system directs the actuator to adjust the forming force.
FORMING MOULD COMPRISING A MOVABLE ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR FORMING CELLULOSE PRODUCTS
A forming mould for forming three-dimensional cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure. The forming mould includes a first mould part and a second mould part. The first mould part and the second mould part are movable relative to each other in a pressing direction and arranged to be pressed relative to each other during forming of the cellulose products. The first mould part includes a movable element displaceable between an extended state and a retracted state, where the movable element in the extended state is arranged as a protruding body extending in the pressing direction relative to a surrounding pressing surface of the first mould part. The movable element is in the retracted state arranged as a pressing surface cooperating with the surrounding pressing surface for forming the cellulose products.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRETREATING PACKAGING BLANKS AND PACKAGING DEVICE FOR PRODUCING PACKAGING UNITS
An apparatus (6) as well as a method for the pre-treatment of packaging blanks are disclosed (10). These each have through-openings for receiving articles (12) and for forming packaging units (18).
A weakening of the at least one through-opening of the packaging blank (10) can be carried out in each case using at least two different expansion dies (44; 44a, 44b, 44c). The expansion dies (44; 44a, 44b, 44c) are each equipped with expansion tools with different opening widths and/or different contours for respectively influencing an extent of the weakening of the at least one through-opening.
At least one handling robot (70, 88, 90, 108) serves to bring together the packaging blanks (10) with at least one of the at least two available expansion dies (44; 44a, 44b, 44c).
