SIDE GUSSET PAPER CONTAINER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SIDE GUSSET PAPER CONTAINER AND USE OF THE SIDE GUSSET PAPER CONTAINER
A side gusset paper container in which in the region of the transition of the front wall to a first part of the container bottom region, there is a first pre-crease, and in which in the region of the transition of the rear wall into a second part of the container bottom region, there is a second pre-crease. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a method for producing a side gusset paper container, in which at least one or a plurality of linear pre-creases are formed in the inner side of a paper web. Additionally, the disclosure relates to a use of the side gusset paper container according to the disclosure as a compost collecting and/or carrying container and/or as a fillable container which is self-standing in the unfilled state.
Method and machine for making flexible packages with side gussets
The present invention relates to a method for making packages (100) made of flexible material. The method comprises a first step which consists in providing a first strip (19) and a second strip (20) made of flexible material, positioned on top of each other along a conveying direction and preferably having the same width. Moreover, the method comprises a second step of securing the first strip (19) to the second strip (20) by means of a welding surface (24) which extends in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction of the first and the second strip (19, 20) for a first length (h4) which is less than the width (h3) of each of the first and the second strip (19, 20); wherein the welding surface (24) is positioned at a first side edge (39) of the first and the second strip (19, 20). In addition, the present invention also comprises a machine (200) which allows using such method.
Former with insert
A former provides an insert at the lip of the former to enable packaging material to travel smoothly over the former. The insert lays smoothly on the top surface of the former. The insert is sized approximately one half the width of the packaging material that travels over the insert. The former provides a raised textured surface that enables the packaging material to travel over the former into the aperture. The insert constructed with a smooth top surface is located adjacent at least a portion of the aperture. The insert provides a smooth surface for the packaging material to travel across when entering the aperture.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SHEET MATERIAL CONTAINER
A method for manufacturing a sheet material container where the sheet material container includes one or a plurality of sheet members including a main-body forming sheet member that has an outer film layer and an inner film layer which are mutually stacked, a containing region that accommodates contents, and a container body that is configured from the main-body forming sheet member and that surrounds the containing region, and the main-body forming sheet member having a main-body sealing portion, which is an attached region between the outer film layer and the inner film layer, and a non-attached region where the outer film layer and the inner film layer are partially not attached, and further having a filling portion where a filler is enclosed between the layers of the outer film layer and the inner film layer in the non-attached region.

MULTI-FILM THERMOPLASTIC BAGS HAVING GRAB ZONES SECURED TO SIDEWALLS VIA SELFING AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
One or more implementations of a thermoplastic bag with a grab zone of deformations including raised rib-like elements positioned in a high-touch area of the bag. For example, the thermoplastic bag includes a hem skirt non-continuously laminated to a sidewall by one or more raised rib-like elements. The grab zone regions of one or more raised-rib-like elements are located in visible and high-touch areas to provide visual and tactile cues of strength and durability. Moreover, the grab zone regions of one or more raised rib-like elements serve to distribute pull and lift forces across a wider area in order to avoid common failures in high-touch areas such as over stretching, punctures, tears, and rips.

LINER FOR AN OVERPACK ASSEMBLY
An overpack assembly and a method of making an overpack assembly is disclosed. The overpack assembly includes a liner positioned within an overpack. In one embodiment, the method includes making a liner including providing a first sheet including a fitment positioned over a second sheet, the first sheet attached to the second sheet along an attachment seam at an entire perimeter edge. The first sheet is pulled apart from the second sheet at a center of the liner, forming a three-dimensional liner with triangular wings. A vertical seam is formed across each triangular wing, the vertical seam being perpendicular to the attachment seam, where a length of the vertical seam corresponds to the height of the liner when in use. The liner is positioned within the overpack.
BAG FORMING APPARATUS
A bag forming apparatus for forming a flat bottom of a bag includes a base, opposing sidewalls that extend upright relative to the base, and a top that is operably coupled to an upper portion of each of the sidewalls. The top has an intermediate pivot axis between the sidewalls that enables the top to pivot about the pivot axis between a collapsed state and an expanded state. In the collapsed state, the upper portions of the respective sidewalls are closer together and the top extends upright relative to the base to form a tip for insertion into an opening of the bag. In the expanded state, the upper portions of the respective sidewalls are spaced further apart and the top extends horizontally relative to the base to form a platform for forming the flat bottom of the bag.
