Adjustable additive cartridge systems
An adjustable additive cartridge that provides adjustable metering of additive to a base fluid as the base fluid is flowing through the cartridge. A spout is mounted for limited rotation within a base element of the cartridge. Rotation of the spout results in varying degrees of flow of additive into a base fluid flow path through the cartridge. The cartridge may be used with a portable beverage container, such as a sports bottle or off-the-shelf water bottle. The supply of base fluid in a container used with the cartridge may be kept in an unmixed, pure state, and other cartridges, each having different additives (i.e., flavors) may be used interchangeably with the same base fluid supply. The cartridge allows a consumer/user to experience different additives, such as different flavors or supplement compositions, for a given supply of base liquid in a single container. A check valve on the cartridge prevents backflow of the base fluid. An integrated filter for filtering base fluid flowing into the cartridge may be provided. The additive cartridge may be sealed to provide for extended storage and to provide a user/consumer with evidence of integrity, quality and/or tampering prior to purchase and/or use. Visual and tactile indicators of the amount of additive being added to a base fluid may be provided. A container may retain a spare additive adjustable cartridge on the container.

Pitcher and mixing ruler for preparing and dispensing beverages
A ruler for mixing the ingredients of a selected beverage is slidably received in a vertical slot formed on the inside wall of a pitcher. The beverage ingredients for mixing are listed on each side of the ruler. The list of ingredients for each beverage is color coded to distinguish one beverage from another. The amount and order for mixing the ingredients in the pitcher are identified by parallel spaced measuring lines extending from the bottom to the top of the ruler. The lowermost measuring line on the ruler identifies the first ingredient added to the pitcher. The remaining ingredients are sequentially added to the pitcher to the level of the measuring line identifying each ingredient. The ingredients for mixing are added to the pitcher without requiring the volume of each ingredient to be separately measured and added. With the mixing ruler being releasably attached to the pitcher a set of mixing rulers for a collection of beverage recipes is available for use in mixing beverages in the pitcher.

Salad dressing preparation and storage devices
The Improved Salad Dressing Preparation and Storage Container is a food preparation device that allows for conveniently measuring, mixing, and dispensing of homemade vinaigrette salad dressing. The device uses two adjacent, adjoined compartments that are volumetrically proportioned to allow for the recommended ratio of oil and vinegar (acid) to be consistently achieved by filling them with oil and vinegar to the same apparent level. The Improved Salad Dressing Preparation and Storage Container may also be configured for commercial sale pre-filled with the oil and vinegar contents, those kept separated by sealing the adjoined compartments using an adapted seal. The pre-filled container may be designed and marketed for secondary use by consumers for use in making their own vinaigrette salad dressing recipes.

Isolating robotic actuators from food and beverage preparation
Provided is a device, comprising: a barrier configured to impeded or prevent particles shed by a robot in a first volume of space from entering a second volume of space in which the robot manipulates a workpiece; and a robot having three or more degrees of freedom, the robot comprising: a first portion disposed on a first side of the barrier in the first volume, the first portion comprising an actuator of the robot, the actuator being configured to drive movement of the robot to manipulate the workpiece; and a second portion disposed on a second side of the barrier in the second volume, the second portion comprising an end-effector of the robot by which the robot makes contact with the workpiece.
Tumbler bottle
The tumbler bottle includes a cup having a side wall interior surface and bottom wall a convex interior surface. The cup side wall and bottom wall interior surfaces are joined by a smooth, arcuate interior transition surface to define a first mixing chamber. The tumbler bottle further includes a lid, removably connected with the cup. The lid includes a side wall interior surface and a top wall concave interior surface. The lid side wall and top wall interior surfaces are joined by a smooth, arcuate interior transition surface to define a second mixing chamber. The lid further includes a dispensing outlet and a closure. When coupled together the first mixing chamber and the second mixing chamber are in fluid communication and are configured to uniformly mix a liquid with one or more additives.

Vortex spirit bottle
A liquid container configured to stimulate visual interest. In one embodiment, the container is a bottle configured to generate a liquid vortex within the bottle. In another embodiment, the bottle includes one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to illuminate the bottle and/or vortex. The bottle includes an agitator configured to generate the liquid vortex. The agitator generally includes a magnetic stir bar disposed within the bottle. The agitator further includes a stylized blade configured to cover the stir bar. The bottle is further configured to work with a mobile application. The app is configured to connect to the bottle via scanning a barcode and/or quick response (QR) code on the bottle. The app enables a user to modify the size and/or shape of the vortex, the speed of the rotor, and/or the light color and/or brightness of the LEDs.
