The present specification relates to a cooking appliance and, more specifically, to a cooking appliance comprising a lid and a main body and having an inner pot heated by induction heating. A cooking appliance according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises a lid and a main body. The lid can be completely separated from the main body and is rotation-coupled to the main body. A storage space accommodating at least one electronic device is formed inside the lid. In order to supply power to the electronic device accommodated inside the lid, at least one power transmission coil and at least one power reception coil are arranged at one side of the main body and one side of the lid, respectively. According to one embodiment of the present specification, power can be wirelessly supplied to an electronic device arranged in a storage space inside the lid of a cooking appliance, and the size of an inner pot accommodation space can also be maximized.

A cooking utensil for preventing burns is provided. The cooking utensil comprises a container part and a burn prevention part. The container part includes a bottom portion, a perimeter portion, and an insertion groove. The burn prevention part includes a support portion, a cap portion, a flange portion, and at least one elastic member. The flange portion and the support portion may be made of magnetic materials that attract each other. Accordingly, when the container part is heated, the support portion and the flange portion made of the magnetic materials lose the magnetic properties thereof and move upward by means of the upper side of the elastic member, thus minimizing the effect of the heating of the container part and preventing the person cooking from being burned by the upper portion of the container part.

A roasting rack and carving board system includes a roasting rack having a number of spaced support members that support a food item. The system also includes a carving board that has a body with a cutting surface. The body and cutting surface features a number of grooves that receive the spaced support members of the roasting rack so that at least portions of some of the plurality of spaced support members are recessed into the carving board body with respect to the cutting surface.

A roasting rack and carving board system includes a roasting rack having a number of spaced support members that support a food item. The system also includes a carving board that has a body with a cutting surface. The body and cutting surface features a number of grooves that receive the spaced support members of the roasting rack so that at least portions of some of the plurality of spaced support members are recessed into the carving board body with respect to the cutting surface.

Cooking utensil with at least one handle structure. The cooking utensil includes a bottom wall and an upright side wall with an outer side. The at least one handle structure is arranged against the outer side of the upright side wall. The at least one handle structure includes a gripping part configured to be grippable by a user. The at least one handle structure includes a phase-change material.

A handle for a container, the container including a peripheral wall that defines an internal area. The handle includes a mount having a locking recess and a body including a pivot arm and a locking arm. The pivot arm is pivotally connected to the mount. When positioned in an operating position, the locking arm is biased toward the locking recess so as to secure the locking arm in place relative to the mount. When positioned in a storage position, the body is rotated about the pivot arm to a location above or in the internal area.

A heat diverting pot handle for engagement to a cooking pot. The pot handle engages with the cooking pot at a first end through the engagement of two forks extending at angles from the first end to engagements with the pot body. An opening between the two forks provides a passage for heat generated from a heat source against the bottom surface of the pot body through the handle to keep the handle cool. A hot air fryer includes a main body, a vessel that can be removed from the main body and a basket that can be removed from the vessel. The fryer also includes a manipulating system having a configuration changing system that makes it possible to manipulate the vessel incorporating the basket at the same time, or to manipulate the basket alone, released and removed from the vessel, or to manipulate the vessel alone, released and removed from the basket, so as to allow a first mode of cooking foods in the basket incorporated in the vessel and a second mode of cooking foods directly in the vessel, the basket being extracted from the latter.

A cooking appliance is provided. The cooking appliance comprises a cooker body for receiving food and a lid for covering the cooker body. The cooker body comprises at least one latch slot disposed on an inclined rear side of the cooker body. The lid comprises at least one latch bar disposed on a periphery thereof and extending outwardly therefrom. When the lid is detached from the cooker body, the latch bar is operable to be inserted into the corresponding latch slot to secure the lid at the inclined rear side of the cooker body, allowing a user to secure the lid to the latch slot without reaching a rear side of the cooker body by hand, and to retrieve the food without accidentally contacting the lid.
