The present invention discloses a transport crate (100) used to transport foodstuffs that supports a controlled temperature and contains thermally independent heated or cooled compartments that keep the transported foodstuffs protected and at the correct temperature.

A storage container may include a frame structure having a hinge with a pivot axis, a first frame component, and a second frame component coupled to the first frame component by a hinge; a first shell and a second shell; and one or more securing structures configured to facilitate isolation of an interior volume from the space exterior to the interior volume and maintenance of the storage container in a closed configuration. The first shell and second shell may be configured to be releasably secured by the first frame component and second frame component, respectively. Disclosed herein is a food container having a durable storage compartment that is fixed to the lid by a hinge and a plurality of connectors. The food container may be formed from borosilicate glass or another durable material that may be reused and will not deteriorate in the microwave or when exposed to extreme hot and or cold temperatures. The assembled base and raised racks are held within a single pan or between a lower pan and an oppositely-oriented upper pan. The pan or pans containing the assembled base and raised racks is/are placed within a wire chafing stand with rotatable handles. The handles are rotatable to clamp together rims of the upper pan and lower pan.

A thermal container for transporting hot fast food having a body that forms a main box which defines an internal space for the food, includes on the inside an internal receptacle for incorporating heat emitters and a double ventilation system for circulating air between the internal receptacle and the internal space, allowing the heat from the heat emitters to circulate towards the food, keeping it warm, and aeration towards the outside, avoiding steam condensation. The double ventilation system has internal air circulation slots in the internal receptacle and external ventilation slots and holes in the main box. The internal receptacle can be a separate box from the main box which fits over the inner base of the main box.
